If that is the case it is hard for individuals to do anything to pick up the teams performance. But we shall see

So, if they try hard it's not for the Coach but if they don't try hard it's because of the Coach?! So basically whatever happens the Coach can't get any credit...do you work hard on coming up with different ways to express the fact you want Anderson out whatever our results?

It is quite simple folks. The players in their mind are trying BUT we do not have players who individually are good enough. They live or die as a team. We are only good if all 13 are playing together as a team.
To work as a team they have to be listening and playing as the coach wants them too. I dont think that is happening. Defence is a key area where you can see if a team is playing as a team. Our defence is shiite. In attack an individual can do something special so not always about the team

Anyway tonight will maybe show us who is right.

So if they are not listening and playing as the coach wants them to -and as a result they are losing, you'd think they'd start listening....... Surely that's the players at fault not the coaches.

The heads down points to Andersons loss of the dressing room but what will be will be it's far more than just not listening there's too many good layers for that.

You are making an ASSUMPTION here that the players aren't happy with the coaching then? But they were last year, and the year before, and the year before that? So why have they suddenly decided they don't like him?

Anderson has clearly said the coaching methodology was changed this season to make us quicker and to allow us to attack with more pace and venom. He said we were too one paced last year and that's why we got mullered at Wigan in the play offs.

That change clearly hasn't worked, there appears to be no Plan B and everyone's frustrated with what's happening.

So only this season is relevant as the previous methodology was working a lot better.

So Jools he didn't make an assumption the facts are based on performance and results Paul Anderson has clearly got it way wrong but can't find a resolution as he cant change back to the previous years methodology as the people have gone so only this season has any relevance to the way we are playing.

He has made an assumption he's assumed that Anderson has lost the dressing room -that the players are unhappy with PA and his systems. if a player has said as much then fair enough- otherwise it's an assumption.

That could well be near the mark, We shall have to wait and see.

The one thing we can say with a fair amount of certainty is that with the exception of Brough, and possibly Gerry all our players have gone backwards individually under Mr Andersons coaching. We can assume they have not made a collective deliberate decision to do that . So where do you start to look for the answer. From what I heard at the time of Ferresgate, Brough said that if Ferres didn't leave then he would. The interaction between those 2 in the game at Headingley certainly wasn't amicable. Related?

I hear a lot from two different sources close to the club and it's not about being proved right. I just care and hate to see what is happening and the stories I hear coming out of the club are not good.

I loved the togetherness at the club in seasons gone by and we were the envy of many for it.

Who needs to go and what needs to happen I don't know, I know one thing though, Davy does not deserve what is happening on and off the field. All that will be achieved is even smaller crowds, players who want to leave and others who don't want to come and all the progress we have made over the years will be gone.

It is disappearing as we speak. Maybe a spell in the lower levels would sort the club out, Get rid of some prima donnas, both on and off the field, Start from the bottom up again, as it were . We have no super stars to worry about losing.
It could be a long hard grind, Just a thought.

What's all the negative talk about. Do you really think a season or two at the lower level will improve your club. Relegation a million miles away and even if you are involved in the M P G (and I doubt you will be) it gives you the opportunity to build for next season. I have no idea of the goings on at your club but from what I have seen of you on the t v you don't seem to be that far off. Most teams are capable of putting a run of good results together and with the regular season only half way through your chance will come.

I don't think we will get relegated, I was just pointing out that it would not necessarily be the end of the world, and could be a chance for a new start "was it to happen " That would very much depend on Mr Davy.

We look pretty much nailed on to be middle 8, and if that was a straight knockout I would be very worried, but on the system we have I think we should be comfortably in the top 4. Still not happy with the way things are though.

Thankyou "lampyboy", it takes a supporter from another club to talk some sense here and proverbally knock some negative heads together. I know from talking to some of the players that dont share some some negative drivell thats spouted on here, lets hope they never do!!

Believe all is well down there if you wish, but it's not, the difference is plain to see. It does not mean when you are not playing for a coach or there is a lot of unrest you will throw games by 60 points, it just mean you are not as together and as motivated, team spirt is severely affected and it shows on the field, no one is saying they are throwing games intentionally. It happens in football all the time and in other sports, when they lose respect for the coach or there is little team spirit, performances plummet.

We did not see blow out scores in the reign of John Sharpe until Catalans away, but the players hated him, he thought he was billy big balls and they stopped playing for him, what happened the year after he left, we were a different team. That all came from E.C mouth to me, anyone who knows him can ask him, but it's a well known fact anyway.

I hope I am wrong and they turn into world beaters again, but I won't hold my breath.
