Well that was fairly comfortable in the end....Could and probably should have had 50+ with the chances we blew but our 1st win so i won't be too greedy !

Looked much better with 2 half backs and Eorl playing.
Bruno = outstanding again
Tansey = Excellent game, very assured
Wood = looked quick and eager and definitely got us moving much quicker

in fact everyone contributed their bit.

Rovers on the otherhand we're abysmal, they could have had 20 players on the park today and i doubt they would have threatened us.

Such a shame to see Shaun Lunt as a very average player in a poor side doing nothing but passing the ball, he could, and should have been a great player,......just goes to show that the grass isn't always greener where you think it is !!

feels good to just get the win today and that is the main thing!

the more the players get to play together the better they will get, its been a different team every game for the past 4 games, hopefully can keep this team for a few weeks

crabtree and rapira laid the platform perfectly today and brough took the lead as he often does.

That was better! Great all round performance by all but the stand out players for me were Tansey, Wood (ran his nuts off) & Eorl.

A very comfortable win in the end, they put us under no pressure whatsoever, the only pressure on us came from the whistle of Hicks and our errors. we could and really should have had half a century but we got off the mark that's the main thing.
Our forwards were superb and totally destroyed rovers, who did make a few good yards to start with, agree about Lunt, i didn't even realise he was on the field until he went off! sad to see how his career has moved on since leaving us for better things

Not exactly putting himself in the shop window or doing himself any favours with his petty dire & less than average performance today! Onwards and upwards - not!!

I remember getting blasted for calling him when he still played for us.
He's been found out as a one trick pony. No need to cover the ruck when he's playing cause you know he's not going to run!

Although he does have a Grand final winners medal.

I said before he left us he's turned into a one trick pony- can't see anything to change my mind about that one. He was less than generous about the Giants when he wanted out (both times actually !) so why should I give him the courtesy.
