Broughton isn't the same type of player Ormsby is though. Ormsby is more like Jerry than broughton.

Mixed feelings about the cup this year. On the one hand it could be a welcome distraction from our so far poor league form - on the other could really help us to continue our more recent form and cement some continuity in our structures and gain valuable confidence from a good cup run.
From PA comments after the Leeds game in the league he seems to be relishing the challenge of a cup run so will probably see us going all out on Fri against a stronger Leeds side. Get through this and who knows - we could go far given a reasonable cup draw.

I don't think we should boo him, I think he will be expecting that again and this time will be aiming to channel it to spur him on. I reckon we should switch the psychology a bit. Wonder if Anderson might gamble and play Simpson FB and Brierley to left wing,leaving world-class Smurph in his best position of centre.

Brierley has been class at fullback for us if i was him id find it an insult to be put on the wing. Would make more sense to put Simpson to wing and bring connor off the bench again.

personally id play Smurph on the wing and connor at centre.

The weakest part of Smurphs game as a winger is metres on kick returns,he's not the biggest,surely you have noticed this.

Anderson called Smurph world class at centre,his defence against Watkins and his attacking threat.

So let's shift Smurph back to the wing and negate all that.

For mine put any dummy on the left wing,thinking Brierley as he has been FB he's the best chance to deal with the kicks that without a shadow of doubt will come his way.

Everyone fancies a Leeds win- let's hope the lads use that as a big incentive. As Baloo has said the pressure is all on Leeds- triple champions, the RL world pointing the finger at the loss of game breaking players, currently bottom and experienced players out of form. If they go out in their first game of the rounds the fallout will be massive!
