| I'd have a guess that Miller and one of Kafusi/Mullally will miss out. Would be nice to see a pack with both these 2 and Johnson, might not necessarily have maximum power but the enthusiasm would certainly be there. If you were PA you would just have to say, here's your chance, make me pick you next week!!

| I'd play leeming, miller and Connor to give them a chance- play both mullally and kaufusi to give them a chance to prove their point and leave kopczak and Johnson out- kopczak because he was back to his lazy self, Johnson not because he's done anything wrong but because he's a young lad playing his first multi game stint at high level and should be rested.
Whatever happens at least two of the four youngsters will have to play.

| i agree with jools.. put them all in, let them have a go, a real go, let them show baloo and the fans what they are capable of, other teams do it with a fair amount of success... put connor at full back, miller in the halves with robbo, leeming at 9..i know these are pivotal positions but if we don't give them a shot how do we know if they really are our next generation?
i'm pretty sure these 3 along with kaufusi and mullally have got points to prove, let them loose, they could surprise us!

| I kind of agree that playing the youngsters is the way to go - rarely have any of them let us down when played in the past.
If we don't play them now with so many first teamers injured when will we?
Definitely not favourites to win this one - and debateable even with a full team so don't really see what we have to lose - more to gain from giving the lads a chance to prove themselves. Better do it now than if the same thing happened in the play offs.
I will be there and hoping to see an improved performance - a win would be fantastic but not expecting it - or am I as I always feel these days we can be a match for any team. Remember Saints away last year or Wigan away this - I always have hope regardless of who plays!

| I really hope he plays the youngsters - I can never understand why we are so reluctant to do so. At the very least in means we don't need to mess around with players not playing in the their favoured positions.
I really can't see us getting any points from this game but I'm more interested in a response from the players. If we win it in the same manner as we beat London and Hull KR all that will mean to me is another Salford is down the road. I want to see an improved attitude and commitment I've not seen for some time (if we can get a win as well, perfect!). Get that spirit back and we really have something to build on.

i agree, it's gonna be a big ask to get the win,it would have been with grix, brough, lunt, murphy, but even tougher now.
but seeing how we react to saturday and how the fringe players react is what i'm looking at, obviously if we don't turn up at all and get another hammering iwill be disappointed, but we need the senior players to step up now and improve every aspect of their game

| I expect to see a team who will try there best tonight.
I'll be disappointed if it's another bad effort but I can't see past us having that extra bit of determination.
Castleford are too dangerous at home and I expect a loss.
I just hope the credit will go were it's due and us having players missing won't be an excuse because we are putting a side out that can win.

thought kaufusi and mullally were brilliant especially kaufusi, should keep his place now
connor went very well too, hope he gets another go next week too against bradford.

| Grix is out 4-6 weeks so Connor will keep his spot.
I don't think we were awful, we scored 30 points away against a team who's defence has been, and was, very good. With a decent kicking game and narrower broughton boots we could easily have won. Defensively we need to be smarter- and go back to last years systems!
Robbo, Crabtree, and Lunt rumoured to be off next year, if that's the case then it's easy to see why things aren't all good.

I thought we were definitely better and if we can improve again in this performance against Bradford I'll be happy. I thought Connor was solid but nothing more. I didn't feel he was really tested but everything he did, he did well and I'm pleased he'll get a few games to build on it.
Cudjoe (and I'm not talking about when he stepped out of line for an interception that never came and cost us a try - we all enjoy when he's pulls it off so we have to accept sometimes it may not come off) was again poor. A lot of the tries came down his channels and his defensive reading is just not there at the moment. However, form is temp and class if perm and he will turn it around.
I thought Ellis and Huby were good which, if the rumours are true, is good for next season. However, we can't escape something is just not right in the camp at the moment and maybe it is all the uncertainty about players moving on - if (and it's obviously nothing more than an if) you add Chan & Faiumi to Robbo, Eorl and Lunt that's a large core of the title winning team allegedly moving on and it's no wonder the team work's not quite there. Pure speculation I admit but seems a plausible explanation.

| So where is Crabtree supposed to be going.
For goodness sake stop panicking players do move on. Cas are losing Hauraki,Sneyd, Huby,Clarke and Ellis next year but doesn't stop them playing well.

| It is fairly basic to understand. All the players mentioned are under contract so would only be sold if the club decides it is in its best interests.
Why would the club allow half the squad to leave.
