I dont really rate ta'ai or koppy much, ta'ai's ball handling is poor and koppy seems quite lazy and soft in defence for his size the forwards need to start being more aggressive both in defence and attack otherwise we wont be winning anything anytime soon

we will know in the first set we need to get into there faces with good line speed from all 13 and run the ball in with speed and aggression if we start like last week we will be trouble getting bet by a very under strength sts then wigan to me is unexceptionable

agree about ferres and taai but taai has kept his place in the team so cant complain too much. though not in his best position which is 2nd row.

ferres has gone ok since coming back too.

Kaufusi went on loan for a month so i think after this weekend he should return, think its time he did to be honest too

Going to be very wet tomorrow... reminds me of last seasons play off v wigan when it was also raining and we got battered in the forwards, hope its not the same tomorrow but we tend to play better with the sun on our backs im afraid

We are already light on the forwards with mullally and Koppy out. Taai making way for bailey would make us extremely light up front! Eorl Johnson fooey and who? Larne is too small to play up front now.

Although he did his usual dropping a few balls, I thought Taai was our best player in wet conditions in London so I'd definitely play him. I'm glad Koppy has been dropped but assume Mullally has an injury as I thought he'd been quite impressive since he came into the side.

Must admit I am not looking forward to this one. This Wigan side has been showing all the battling qualities we have been so badly missing this season. I'll be turning up hoping for the best but expecting a comfortable Wigan win.

Me neither, Mullally and Kaufusi are the only players who have shown any aggression all season (which is what PA says we need) and neither will be playing tonight! Hope Johnson doesn't spend all game on the bench

I think with Anderson's comments today in the examiner he wants to prove a point to his players! He has said time and time again we need more aggression and intensity for long longer sustained periods. He sees the issue it's certain players not rolling the sleeves up and working for it!
I believe he would look at jerry. A stocky winger but gives up half a foot and a fair few stone against the big boys in the middle of the park, and yet he wins collision, gets over the advantage line and generally gets a quick play the ball! Speed x weight is the formula for power! Perhaps his thinking is having lighter more speedy and intensive players hunting in packs and driving hard is a better option than having a big man lumber up and get hit and go down like a sack of the proverbial!
Taai, fuey, Patrick, Johnson, jerry, ferres, joe, Murphy, are all players who likely or not are players who can punch the line in the !
We asked for change and we got it! If we hit straps and commit to the idea of aggression and intensity then win or lose we will have made progress

Awful conditions to work with. Hopefully we'll be having a 4 drives and kicking game. With a less chunky forward pack turning the opposition around and a quick chase will be key.

I'm just hoping we put in the effort- I'm coming home from camping specially to watch this one- then going back to the tent tomorrow- if the giants put in the same amount of effort we have to attend I'll be happy regardless win or lose.
