Biggest argument for going with a new supplier is that after so many years with Kooga, a different supplier could create fresh interest among supporters and re-invigorate the offer.
Kooga remain a prestigious rugby sports brand, despite recent loss of RL contracts. Can another well known brand replace them and offer better tems and service ? Are there smaller brands out there that could do the job -possibly, but is it good for the image of the Giants to be associated with an unknown manufacturer you might more commonly see in the Championship ? Probably not.

So someone with no dress sense and no idea what many people wanted- that should narrow it down!
The away kit was popular with the younger supporters no doubt-but if they do anything like this again they need to make the home shirt very traditional to cover all tastes. The home shirt was as uninspiring as they come- I bought one because it was either that or the one that looked like the pictures my daughter brought home from play group. If this years is as uninspiring I won't be getting one, ill wear crackerjacks retro home and away.

i have bought the alternative shirt for the past 3 seasons.. always preferred it

seems the grey one last year sold well too so well done to the club for being abit different after all the stick they got it paid off.

Spot on, and I agree the home one was a bit poor last year.

Alternative grey paintball shirt from last season was just horrible - sorry to say - may be they sold well but really do not like to see such a departure from our traditional shirts. Away shirts used to be just a variation from home one - mostly white with claret/gold features.

Consistency of design is important - who would ever know that the grey shirt had anything at all to do with Giants apart from our fans? Home shirt needs to be reasonably consistent also - time for a more retrro one I would say after some decent efforts in recent years to be a bit more modern.

Whatever next - god help us we may even get a pink shirt - that would never happen in RL - oh hang on

We are C&G and proud - stick with that - training gear polos etc... in black or white as alternative (not blue, or black/yellow, or red) end of!

been some good alternative shirts in the past, the white one i liked and especially the blue.

Kooga may,like so many other firms,have had to cut costs in recent times,due to recession.The 2009 home (Wembley) replica was excellent quality as was the white alternative which I think was the same year (The University white one,not the caboodle white one)

What Kooga have come up with in last two years is on a par with what Outwear and Logitog used to churn out.Though must say the Outwear 2006 home (Twickers) shirt was one of the best fitting I had (still got it in fact)

The grey & purple last year were good colours,but were ruined imo by the yellow vomit on the front,otherwise I would have bought it.

Best replica I ever bought was the first GB made by Classic who I believe are an Australian manufacturer,from about 2005.Heavy duty cotton,superb.

Def need more gold in next years home replica.

got to say ive bought the last couple of shirts and quite a few polo shirts, the grey one in partucular is really good and ive worn them all a lot and they are all still in good condition, so can honestly say ive no complaints about the kooga stuff ive bought.

Trouble is a black shirt plus c&g,makes us look too much like that lot up the A641,and we don't want that now do we.White I like but we have done that recently.

we have had an alternative purple shirt before..so its not foreign to us, might be quite nice! the other purple one seemed to go down quite well with bits of blue on it?

Going for something very different again then...worked last year i guess!! (sold plenty of the grey paintball one)

I got some right stick off a couple of mates for buying that purple & blue number that super stan is holding.Always liked it myself though.It's one I'm not giving up to the amnesty.

Got that one too but it has seen better days so might well be returned.

think ill be handing in the black away one...the collar on that was a shocker!
