| I cannot understand people missing out Robbos contribution.
His tackling was immense i look forward to seeing his stats tomorrow.
He even knocked out two Hull players.
If you could put his heart into a bigger body how good would he be.

i agree with durham. robbo had to come on when lee got injured and play the full match. had to make many tackles as he was a target all game and still had the energy in attack brilliant peformance.
our defence is the best in superleague and had won us alot of games this season when our attack has not been able to get going
thought hull put in a good effort. their defence is very good, thought they missed richard horne in attack.
shall be a good game next week deffo need to play alot better than 2day

| I was sat watching the match and wondering again what Robbo has done to MacBanana to be ignored for a test jumper.

Travis is right. Giants concede an average of 15.45 pts per game while Hull concede 16.2 points per game.

| Great defensive performance which built the platform for the eventual win, but by eck it was hard work getting there. Knock-on-a-thon doesn't quite come close.
Sensible husbandry of squad resources by Brown, and a subtle tactical switch which blunted Hull's attempts to play a territorial, percentage game - an understandable plan given the tough game they had on Friday. Seymour was kicking deep and early to the flanks. Dropping Murphy back to a second full-back on the opposite side to Eden nullified that and forced Hull down the middle where they got no change from a terrific pack of forwards.
Michael Lawrence was absolutely outstanding. Not seen the stats, but if he missed a tackle I'll be very surprised.

Just for clarity are you in someway upset that our middle unit ran the ball in down the middle where Robinson was defending? Much like Crabtree running at Houghton in fact.

Agree. He has only played a few games in the back row. He has a brilliant attitude and I can only see him getting better.

| not that confident about the cup game to be honest, unless we get a few troops back, and only moa is looking like returning and this only if he gets back to the uk in next couple of days. martin may be back as well, no chance for the other injured players. add to this aspinwall and sharp who look doubtful and we may be dipping further into our 20's team, reece lynn or tom lineham may have to step up. any giants injuries from yesterday?

Tommy Lee went off injured, not sure whats happening there.....shouldn't be a problem though as we've got O'Donnell, Lunt, Faiumu, Ferguson, Fairbank, George to come back in if needed on Sunday.

Not at all just found it silly two of your Hull board posters saying Yeaman and Tickle were injured by foul play. They ran at Robbo and came off worst in the tackle all Luke did was man up !!!! My point was they picked Robbo a fair tactic but it worked out wrong for them so no one should whinge as did Mr Tickle hence the slightly humerous use in one of my posts of the 'brave Mr Tickle'

| Great display from the lads. Even at 2-2 after HT still thought we were comfortable, but it was all down to cutting out the mistakes, for the occasions we got through a very good defence. Patience was what was needed and we produced it. Brough MOM (think grixys mum picked it though) for me, a true competitor although there were plenty of others.
Eden still producing the goods and think he's as good under the high ball as Monty is. Wished he'd have backed himself in the first half break, he still had 3m to touch to play with and head for the corner flag. Instead of running into the defender. Would have been a great try. This is without doubt the best set of backs I've seen at Hudds at any one time in 30 years of watching them. Who would you drop?

Hardly our strongest team was it You won the arm wrestle down the middle eventually as the conditions prevailed it was gonna be a slog. Hopefully be a better game next week and some drier weather for a more expansive game when we will score points.

| I know it wasn't Hull's strongest - if you read i was replying to certain Hull fans who seem to think your weakened side did very well against 'a full strength Huddersfield' ......we weren't full strength either far from it .

| Had a wry smile this morning remembering how the hull fans were bleating about the ref on monday, i recall them saying how they only had 2 penalties awarded by child, and how no team can be that disciplined to only concede 2 penalties in a game! Well guess what the penalty count was yesterday? Yup 7-1 to hull, how the hell can one team be so disciplined to only concede ONE penalty!
