You're optimistic. I think we'll get mullered. We have a team half full of young guys. Much as I think they're great, they've a while to go yet before they can be competing properly at this level and it looks like we may be giving out a second debut in as many weeks.

Im confident, but we have been useless against the better teams eg last month, even though Saints are understrengthed, they are still a top team..... its not going to be a walk in the park thats for sure!

That I doubt! We have 10 first team players missing for this game either due to injury or England call up. No excuses for your boys not to beat us, and convincingly too. We may even have one guy on debut (with the one on debut last week playing only his second superleague match!).

puletua, pryce, meli.... etc any team with those in will be very hard to beat.

Puletua is a question mark due to his training injury last week. Meli gives away almost as many tries as he scores, assuming Brough remembers to kick to his corner whenever the chance arises! So while they may be classed as 'stars', one might not be playing and the other sometimes may as well not be! (Although Meli is great when he's on a run to the line as he is bloody hard to stop) We've still got way too many young and inexperienced players in our side to make an impact. But I'll be content if our young guys give it a real go and we can see them at their best not least because it will encourage me to think that Saints may have a future even if the present isn't what it was in the past! even though saints had some quality players missing last night,roby graham,eastmond etc they still had some very good players on the field last night, pryce,meli,flannery,cunningham,puletua,gidley,moore,wellens,clough who would get into most teams so we still had a big job on our hands,unfortunately that proved the case
