I disagree 40, team selection depends on training,fitness and playing ability amongst other things.If Broughy has a bad game would you drop him? I prefer to leave team selection to the coaches .Theres a lot of things that goes on behind closed doors that us spectators never know about.

sorry bilko over the past couple of years we have had senior players having bad games week in week out if players aren't performing then they should be dropped . you don't get league points in training.

Nothing wrong with that offload imo - the big issue is same as all our offload chances


No one else is paying attention or close enough to take the pass

some players do rise to the challenge of playing for their place, but not every player will enjoy playing worried about if they'll get a game next week if they do something wrong though, you need to give some players that assurance that they won't be immediately dropped for a poor game to allow them to relax and have a good game, rather than them being on edge and tense about making a mistake and losing their place. not talking letting someone have a bad season and still playing them but 1 bad game shouldn't mean you immediately get dropped, doesn't create a very nice team environment imo

However nobody expected it as we were in our own 25 and had a few tackles in the set left.

Will be really happy to see Koppy sign another contract extension. As others have said the stats have him thereabouts with the other props and runs hard and straight. With him, Eorl, Huby and Rapira next year we will have four out and out props that will hold their own and that many teams would love to have. Shame about Mullaly but no good him staying if not committed and wants to go - may find like Larne that the grass is not greener elsewhere.

He was stood still in his own half. It was the wrong time to offload. Even had one of our players picked it up we would have gained no territory (and could even have lost it) it was a silly panicky play. The time to offload is if you are dominant in the tackle and/or if you are near to your opponent's line. It was one of 2 major errors he did in the first half. The other being the ridiculous penalty he gave away when we had possession near our line. Until he cuts those things out of his game he's going to remain a luxury player who will flit in and out of teams.

if it's what they practise in training then surely most of them are clever enough to realise that if there isn't anyone there then don't offload, especially in our own '25

Well It's too late to bother about him anyway, I just think he had some aggressive go forward about him and didn't get enough game time, I think Kopczak is certain to re-sign and I don't have a problem with that, He has shown in some games what he is capable of, It's someone else's job to keep him up there.

For the criticism I have given Koppy last season and at the start of this, I think the last 2 or 3 months he has really turned a corner and is back to his best. Long may it continue!

On Mullally only making 5 carries, isn't this just relative to game time? He can hardly do the same carries if he is getting half the game time as the other forwards. I like him, but part of me doesn't see the point in us playing him to ship him off at the end of the season. I'd rather see someone with complete commitment and desire in Bobby.... even if he is more suited to the back row. Ukuma can also play prop if necessary!

Fair point Huby is always trying to offload in the tackle but half the time it ends up in a mess as no one seems to be ready for it.

Perhaps they aren't expecting it because they've been told by the coaching staff not to offload on the second tackle 20 metres from your own line.

Surely it is down to the circumstances as in the right situation there would be nothing wrong with doing that, his was not the right circumstances for sure but every play should be judged on its merits as the game unfolds.

If it comes off it's brilliant, if it doesn't it's garbage ,always has been always will be.

If three players are going to stand around while Myler nips in for the offload, then I agree it's not good enough. It maybe wasn't the best place to offload, but there were 3 players just stood waiting for the tackle to be completed, it would have been just the same result if the ball had come loose, Warrington would still have been first to it.

I can see that players can be told ( or coached ) not to offload in their own twenty, but I would have thought they would be coached to expect anything at any time, and be first there to any loose ball.

Mullally has chosen to go to Leeds, so for some on here he will be able to do no right, but for some reason PA is still picking him.

Ferris and Cudjo fit to play, and possibly Murphy, so that doesn't make the headache any less.

It's a massive game because a win may mean we only have to win our two home games to make the top four because getting anything at St Helens or Catalans will be tough.

Yes I trust PA won't let them get it into their head It's an easy game after W Wolves, I don't think they will but these are games we have often come unstuck in.

Walsh is back for Saints I believe so that match doesn't get any easier, And Catalan's home record speaks for it's self.

Don't think the pitch is that risky but first game back and they agrivate the injury and it will be blamed, i'd give them another 2 weeks and look at reintroducing them v Hull KR if the slots are there which is no gimme if we go to Widnes with last weeks side and turn it on.
