Quins should have been 10 nowt up,maybe 12 nowt,but they can't ground the ball in 2 attempts or later catch the ball to fall over the try line,it would have been a different game having for us having to play catch up.

No complaints today we got the ball to the outside backs,and put some great tries on.

A bigger test next week if Leeds can be bothered,but they always like to put us hillbillies in our place,and we hate them big city slickers.

this allows us to utilise Lawrence's strong defence in the second row while Cudjoe can defend on the wing better as he is great taking the high kicks. In attack Cudjoe is moved in field as he offers more going forward than Lawrence.

As for Kirmond been dropped. it may be a bit harsh but his defence at times is not the best and he was stepped recently by both Pryce and Orr leading to crucial tries been conceeded.

your right was lucky not to be 12-0 early on! could of been a totally differant story, quins were making lots of yards early on.

but we got away with it and got the job done



some lovely tries scrored yesterday by us but the combos still need abit of work...lets hope we can build v leeds now and have a good go at the playoffs!

50 and he did convert the last try so not sure were the confusion comes from.

Only fair to praise Grixy for getting outside Kev Brown and firing the pass out to Jerry for that try.Also the Wardle try on the right edge when Brough & Brown were the pivots of what turned out was a 3-4 move.They certainly had sharpened up on attack,like they promised they would.

It was noticeable that Brough seems to be fully fit again, he certainly seems to have got some zip back to his pace.

And Kev seems to be taking the line on more again, something he had dropped off doing. If we keep it up I am confident we can make a sPlath in the playoffs

The boys done good it must be said,but the Quins defence was leaky as a sieve.You can only play what's in front of you though as they say.

we won that game because we passed the ball about and it reached our threequarters - with saints, salford etc we had been trying to go up the middle too much, when we want to do it our linespeed and attacking moves are too fast for many teams to cover with sliding defense. eorls quick ptb and darting runs from robbo along with brownys cut out pass work much better for us than the short inside pass that was done to death at salford.
