the £50 deal was for the first 2000 sold behind the posts but cant see 2000 season ticket holders behind the posts can you?
would like too mind!
they would have to open up the top bit of the old panasonic stand...not sure how many the lower seats hold?

latest news on season ticket sales below - im a bit disappointed tbh, 1500 new ticket holders - i wonder if these are brand new or people who have been holders but who havent had them the last couple of years when the financial climate started to get bad.
Going to be a long way off 10,000 and looks like itll be below 7,000.

I think this is pretty good personally. 1,500 new holders and we had ~5,000 exisiting equates to ~30% increase.
We still have this weekend to go as well. It could certainly be a lot worse.

I recognise its a big % increase - but 6500 ST holders is not that great comparatively and will be below all the other teams except london and poss salford and wakey - although depending who they get as coach wakey could surpass that and salford have their new ground as a puller.

I cant see us selling 3500 in 3 days to reach 10,000 maple! If most folk havent bought by the cheap deadline then they wont buy.

IMO they should wait until about 2 weeks before xmas and do the offer again until the new year. This way they might sell a few more to people who are struggling to find a pressie for someone for around 50 quid.

Jools, 7300 of our tickets (new and current) and an average of 10000 to include walk ups on game day and away fans!! I didnt mean 10000 season tickets!! I dont think i'll ever see that, but hope springs eternal...

It's a growth in numbers still, and it's pure speculation so far as to numbers.
Regular crowds of 10k is achievable with these ST levels and that's the short term goal.

If they leave it that late, it will be too late, anyone in retail knows you have to be much earlier than that to boost Xmas sales - if they leave it until then most have spent up |
