we failed to take so many chances, we were held up over the line 3 times in the first half and salford capitalised on pens we gave away or one on one missed tackles

Are you going to be consistent and criticise Brough on a similar tackle on Caton Brown?

I also thought straight away Brierley had pushed him and his foot had gone into touch before putting the ball down, but not blaming that for losing.....we had enough ball in their 20 to have scored more.
Connor looked like he was running in treacle trying to get across to cut the break off down the right and just hasn't the pace for a centre....but I suppose at the moment we have little choice.
Hinchcliffe...has done ok and looks pacy and at times run some good lines but looks more like a back row to me.
So is Brierley to play half back or full back...or alternate game to game!
And is the Brough saga to run for long? Put a big shift in today but thought Ukuma was top performer today.

Connor was hardly at fault for their tries. He was creative and looked a threat. He was exposed 1 on 1 against one of their best forwards and should have been helped more by brough, his take for the try was awesome. Murphy is having a bit of a nightmare season.

Our team today was as strong as we can be other than Wardle, while we looked good in parts our defence at time was woeful, particularly in the first half.

Anyone else think Huby and Crabtree are carrying too much weight? Both looked knackered. I know Huby hasn't had game time, but with only having had a wrist/hand injury he should have been putting in the miles on the treadmill and getting himself as fit as possible.

I thought Brierley overlapped well especially on the right and made space every time, and would like to see better use of subs, playing Kruise for 20 minutes a game is no good to anyone.

I think i know the one you're referring to, when the Salford fans made a bit of noise over, from my side on seat it looked like Brough had hit him from behind and just shoved him to the ground, didn't look side on and certainly didn't look like he targeted his joint, the Salford player got straight up from that so unless there was another one it didn't look anything but i am prepared to admit i'm wrong if i see it again.

Thought again we gifted a team easy points, the 1st 2 or 3 tries they scored were literally walk ins with no Giants player near them.

Teams don't need to be good to score against us, saying that it wasn't as bad as Catalan or Wakefield, We could have won that game but once again blew some good chances.

Frustrating as we are miles better than what we are showing.

Last year we would have won that game by 20 points.

Our pivots aren't firing we had at worst 70% of the attacking play today and could Only score 4 tries and concede 5.

We need to decide our best combination and go with it stop this constant changing around as in attack we look like headless chickens the Kay looks all forced some consistent selection would/should make it smarter

Tbf the majority of the changing around of the pivots has been forced due to injury rather than a choice. We should start to see more consistent choices now we have bodies back.
