| Well done giants. Expected to lose so not too disheartened. Not gunna blame the Ref either. Hopefully you will give us credit like other teams haven't. Instead they usually say they were poor and made Cas look good but we aren't.

| awful first 30 minutes. Props not making any ground and half backs unable to pass to hand. Two tries gifted to Cas by an international centre who has forgotten how to tackle.
It was the four subs that changed the game. Mullally ran the ball in hard and Wood really speeded up the play the ball.
Wardle and the two second rowers ran really well. However when the game should have been won we let them back into it through cheap penalties and an inability to keep hold of the ball.
Still it is a good two points even if the performance was not good. If Shenton had passes to Carney instead of been greedy in last five minutes we would have lost.

At least we seem to be managing to work on the first bit

| Will add Cas are a good team in both attack and defence. Surprised they did not play Finn especially as he was out warming up before the game.

| Mullally provided a real momentum shift when he came on.
Probably the best performance of Kyle wood too - esp for the making of jerrys try.
We let them come back in the last 20 minutes and as stella kid said shenton pass to carney was there to be made. First time seen carney in the flesh - what a cannon ball he is.
V exciting game - which was needed for some decent entertainment at last for home fans.
We are actually on agood run now, despite not playing consistently....

| Cas were very good today.
I think they lost it in the last 15 minutes of the first half when they started flagging.
Mullaly and wood coming on seemed to change the game.
Chan was great too.
Very exciting.
Lots of room for improvement for Giants eg stop dropping the short pass.
Cas hooker was very, very good today.

| Mullally and wood were awesome today! Thought Bruno played well too but didn't get many minutes.
Cas are a good team, but we don't help ourselves with so many dropped balls. Glad we ran the ball instead of taking the two when we got the penalty early in the second half, signal of intent from us which i think game us a bit of belief.
child is a p*ss poor ref

| A great game. Huby was a handful all the way through. Cas's defence was solid in the first 30 minutes and I was beginning to wonder early on if we would be nilled! Our forwards ran better today after mullally had shamed them into it. What was with broughs passing? And robbos passes were often terribly timed. Child's didn't give a penalty in first section of the game- wondered if he was ill! Made up for it with some typical shocking decisions leading to tries for both sides. Absolutely agree if shenton hadn't tried to go for glory Cas would be smiling now.

| Very impressed by Cas - looked structured and very strong. But the way we fought back when our heads could have dropped was great, but we should have put it to bed.
Mullally was NOT happy that he didn't get a second spell. Twice he was ready to go back on, only for Faiumu and then Crabtree to be given the nod at the last minute. And I have to agree with him. Anderson seemed to punish him for a penalty that he conceded close to the Cas line. But he was by far our most effective front rower today

| Cas played with lots of energy, they also play some good entertaining rugby when they get the momentum. We were only able to match them in patches, but when we did we were the better team. You can see why they are pushing Saints and Leeds at the top, especially as they were missing a couple of players too. Huby is a talented player and they attack well out wide with the halves moving the ball swiftly out wide. The short turn around will cost them.
As for ourselves, we are not firing at the moment, but have still managed to win three on the bounce. We can learn some lessons from Cas. We need to stop playing in patches and start to build the intensity so we are strong for the full 80 minutes. We have talented players, but it is just not clicking at the moment.

| can future tickets come with a warning to those with a weak heart? Cas definitely a decent team, put us under immense pressure in first 20 mins and forced the errors. Once that first try came we started to look a lot more confident almost immediately!
Giving away silly penalties after kicking for good field position let them back in and perhaps made it closer than what it should have been, but think the players have learned from the other close finishes we've had what to do in the last 10 mins when scores are tied!

| Danny Brough finally wins a game for us with a drop goal!!!!!!!
3 wins on the trot now without playing great in any of the games... still on course for the 5 wins on the trot i said we could win which at the time was laughed at by some
first 20mins we were poor, 12-0 down and not looking good, not often you see cudjoe handed off like he was by shenton but made up for it with a try.
then mullally, faiumu and wood came on which changed the game for us, mullally with some storming runs! keep it up now. Wood had his best game i have seen for us too..brilliant.
hope robinson is ok, he had to go off but looked fine at the end to clap the fans.
huby was brilliant for cas as was the other prop millington, they were beating us in the forwards early on.
annoyed with chan for giving away some cheap pens which almost cost us the game, also some dumb rugby by wardle and kopczak losing the ball one on one.
the game saver was mcgillvary.... tackled shenton when it was 2 on 1
up the Giants!!!!

| mullally changed the game finally we got some decent go forward and Wood had the best game ive seen him play for us i'd have him ahead of Robinson atm. Sticking up for the forwards though why cant we pass the ball straight to a forward? everytime it seems to have to go to robinson or brough first then onto them soon as they were getting the ball cas were in there faces.

| Well played Huddersfeild from a Cas fan I think the score was about right both teams was a bit scratchy but you controlled the ball well a lot better than us. The ref was his usual self but you come to expect that of him but to be honest he did not effect the result and was right result in the end.

| Really enjoyed the game today, great game of RL and could have gone either way. Impressed with the way hudds dug in and won the game and as said before a pass from Shenny to the beast would have seen a different result.... It wasn't to be, the game could have gone either way.
On a side note, the ref was not fit for purpose for BOTH sides. the worst performance we have had this season. We knock on and hudds have the free play and we get the ball and play on ??? There were decisions the other way but in general .... Terrible.
Hopefully another game like that will happen darnt lane later in the season

I expected us to win marginally just because we've had a longer rest after a busy few weeks.
However hats off to you lot. To lose by a point, away from home against last years league leaders is a great effort.
You've been superb this season and would love to be in the top 4 with you come the end of season. I've seen little arrogance from your fans and what I've seen when your team have played has been brilliant. You deserve to be in the spot you're in. Don't listen to anyone who will try and put a downer on that.
Good win however for the Giants. Roll on London next week.

He didn't get on due to Robbo's injury.

| Thought Childs had one of his better games, he did miss two or three things which every referee does, but he was consistent for both sides.

| I thought he'd been abducted by aliens and had been replaced by a clone as he didn't give a single penalty in the first 20 minutes! Most unchildlike. Made up for it later with some typical shockers- but the aliens can keep the real mr child.

Why did Fuey and Eorl get the nod at the last minute, when Mullally was stripped and ready to go on?

| Kopczak 7.91 metres per carry, Eorl 8.22, taai 8.65, now THATS a big improvement and at least what we want to see every week. (Mullally 11.00 metres a carry -aladdy!)
