| Strong rumours that he has already signed for next season... If true I presume this would be to replace Taai. Personally I would much rather keep taii, but if we have no control over him leaving then Hansen would be the perfect replacement imo... He would definitely compliment our 'new look' pack for next season.... Exciting times ahead.

| I have not seen these rumours. However he is a totally different player to Taai. So if there is any truth in this I would say he is more likely to replace Jack Hughes.

| It was on the Salford board, apparently the post I saw also mentioned that they had asked his dad at the match and he said it wasn't true, but who knows. Great player IMO if it is true, far better than Tai, Hughes is OFC at end of this season, I fully expect us to sign him properly at the end of the year, hes been a regular for us, very solid. Tai has been better this season though, hes stepped up to the mark in games when others haven't.

| Taai offers something different. He is a game breaker and the Giants are short of these type of players so for me keeping him should be a top priority.

| Me too, Ta'ai is a fantastic player and we should be doing everything we can to keep hold of players like him....can't say i've ever really rated Hansen either.

| Wondering what your club are offering for a player halfway through a 4 year contract? can't see you paying the fee Salford paid and I don't see any player you would swop that would be acceptable to Salford.
Btw last week it was a done deal he'd signed for Leigh.

| Would love for ukama to stay however it looks like he is making the decision to back down under.
Rumour is that the club and Hughes can't agree terms so he will be going elsewhere.
IF all the above is true and we do sign Hansen I think it's a great signing. He is a tough uncompromising forward. He has been there and done it with Wigan and has the experience of winning trophies. Something we lack in our current squad. He could help bring wardle onto the next level as a second rower.

| We are saving a lot on wages if we lose Bailey, Lunt, Tasi and Hughes. Maybe room for one more signing which I think will need to be a back rower.

| Bilko- I meant Taai. Auto correct!
For me patrick can go. He pushed for a move to Wigan. He got his wish and it hasn't worked out. I'll be very surprised if Wigan want to keep him.
He hasn't even being average for them.
Hopefully somebody else will want him and we will be able to offload him without making a loss.
Like Lunt he has found out that the grass isn't always greener. Personally I only want players who want to play for us. I don't care how talented they may or may not be. No player is bigger than the club.

| spot on FFL, i liked both Patrick and Lunt, but they wanted out from the club who gave them their big break in the top level of the game
obviously if we keep them both and are both commited to the club i will welcome them back
as it stands, they aren't committed to our cause so all i say is good luck to them both.

So can larne ....
Agree- taai is worth keeping. BUT not if the money isn't right. If his agent is being greedy let some other team pay over the odds.

As well as Mullally, so yes we would be very short, I would also like to see a real effort to land a quality halfback, Never seems to get onto the agenda though.

Could I ask why you feel lunt feels the grass isn't greener? Are you going solely off HKRs league position?? Or do you know something hull kr fans don't because as far as we are aware he is very happy

| i think what FFL is alluding to is for the last 3 years, Lunt has seemingly wanted away from Huddersfield to win more medals, his ultimate dream is to play in the NRL i think we all know that, i think most of us see it that Lunt thought by staying with us then that would dash his hopes of playing in finals every year thus, raising his proflile more in order for his dream to happen.
it could also be argued that he'd gone stale here and thought a change would do him good and improve his game.
most giants fans had the belief for a while that he was looking for a move away and that he wasn't giving his all for us.
i've nothing against the guy at all, but it seems in his desperation to leave for bigger and better things, that his game has suffered over the last 18 months and he's nowhere near the player he was.

This. All we ever do is sign forwards.
We need a good half back to complement Brough .
