The cost of running wakefield is proving far higher than he expected and the recession is not helping his business. apparently putting so much money in and being nowhere near the play offs has been a bit of a shock and the prospect of having to find more to get in the 8 is not too appealing. What have you heard?

Events don't seem to show that! I suppose the off season recruitment will give a good indication. I don't know how wealthy Ken is but a large chunk of his personal wealth must slashed up the wall now, it must be very demoralising for him.

With signings like Tommy Lee and Brett Ferres you have to question the recruitment policy in recent times. Tommy Lee the worst half back in SL last season shows no sign of improvement at hooker, who the hell sanctioned that one. Ferres average at best, downward spiral for you boys I'm afraid. Maybe what I've heard isn't true...maybe it is, thats the reason my OP was stated as a question. A couple of seemingly ITK posters on here suggest they could be some truth in it. Like I said earlier we'll have a look at the quality of recriutment in the off season, that should be a good indicator.

I have never doubted Glover will see out this licence period. But the talk remains that it is costing far more than anticipated and the improvements on the pitch have been minimal. I note you say Glover is doing a 'BradfordBulls' with back to back low price ticket offers..oh dear

Looking at their pricing structure for next season there is alot to be said for it and might well be how we can bump our prices up to a more realistic level without losing most of our season ticket holders but as we still do not know how the club intends to play it we just don't know.

And criticising Wakefield for doing what we do is slightly strange both in having a wealthy backer and trying to boost their season ticket sales but you obviously have your reasons.
