Saw 4 bradford fans in my local last night. (had my new Fartown shirt on) was told how terrible we were, our ground was shocking and Bradford would finish above us in the table this season !!

Having first checked their drinks (yes it was only lager) I then gave them a 5 minute tirade about the balance of power shifting in our part of yorkshire. They hated it, they really did.

We have a better team and squad

We have attendences to match theirs an ours are on the rise

We have a state of the art stadium

We have a chairman who loves the club as much as I do etc etc

Let me tell you these deluded fools went crackers, when I mentioned the fact we had owned them at home for the past three years and now beaten them away it got even worse. Thought one of them was going to swing for me lol.

I'm loving what is happenning at our great club at the moment. We are truly on the brink of greatness. I firmly believe it..........

Back then we could never imagine even playing the likes of Wigan and Bradford let alone overtaking them which in my opinion we are about to do to both of them!

Went to my local British pub a few nights ago, and saw an older gentleman wearing a Fartown pin on his jacket, i was wearing my Giants shirt at the time. He stopped my shirt and came over to me, asked if we were still the wooden spoons of the league (He said he had been over for around 10 years now, and hadn't really kept in touch with the game back here)

After I told him about how far we had come, he smiled, he said that he was happy as the league needs a strong Huddersfield. He then went on to talk to me about the days when he used to go to Fartown as a lad, about the teams he used to see, and about how happy he was for us now being able to beat teams like Northern.

I plan to go meet him again in the near future, give him some DVD's of games (From 2006, but still better than nothing) and hopefully get him more involved in the club again.

Good Friday they have Leeds and we have Celtics. We could be 9 points head of the Bulls by close of play!

We should beat Celtic but I don't think it'll be easy. Nobody seems to be hammering them and it was only in the last minute that Hicks scored for Warrington to seal the win. Saying that though if Bulls can beat Leeds and Wigan can beat Saints(both local derbies where form book doesn't count usually) and we have a comfortable win against the Celts then we may well be top of the league after the next round of SL.

give it another 6 months and you wont be seeing many bradford fans about, its very rare to see one round town these days,maybe they will all go back and try and kick start cougarmania again? they are on the slide B I G time,and there "loyal" supporters will desert the sinking ship sooner rather than later and they willbe back down to pre bulls crowds before the end of next year!
they will also have to face facts that huddersfield are now yorkshire's 2nd team

Why would a RL fan celebrate or indeed hope that another sides support would dwindle? RL needs all the supporters it can get.

Bully, your crowds may be up this year but the overall trend is down. you had a good start to SL, and cashed in on all the Glory hunters from West Yorks, we had a very bad start, and didn,t all the other clubs fans let us know it, we suffered, but we took it.
Our crowds are up, our players quality is up, our finance´s are up, our league position is up, in fact everything is on the way up, and thats been consistant for the last 6 years, so do forgive us if we now hand out a bit of stick, l´m sure like us you will get used to it
