The spine of the team is totally, er, spineless. Has been for a long time.
I had hoped Hinchcliffe would help this and provide some leadership but that hasn't worked out.
The Giants are flat track bullies who've been found out.'"
This is exactly correct and has been for some time. Due to a combination of coaching, onfield leadership (or lack of) and general ethos of the club, we cannot cope with any form of pressure at all, and this has been the story not only this year, but for the last few (playoff's anyone?). The ONLY time the team play to their potential is when there is no pressure applied, this year we have beaten Hull, Warrington and St Helens because there was no expectation to win, therefore no pressure, 'just go out and do your best!!' We still have that small club mentality of needing to be written off before we can perform. Last year we got found out in the playoffs, this year it is at the other end of the table. Sadly, it may well take relegation and a total clearout to get this monkey off the clubs back, because nothing has changed in this regard despite various coaches and personnel changing.
