| Really need Mulhern fit for this one. I'd say Holmes as well.

| If we have Mulhern and Holmes back, and with the continued exposure/improvement for Trout and Norman, we will give Wite a great game.
I’m not convinced that Moylan at 1 is our best approach as opposed to him at 6, but Lammy knows way more than I could ever wish to dream of, so whatever he does I’m behind.

| I’ll throw this out there. What about playing Sailor at full back and either Nisbet or Chamberlain on the wing, we can then keep Hardacker at centre and Moylan in the halves.

Well Sailor would be wonderful I’m sure, but that ship has sailed for now
I presume you mean Hanley, but again I dint think he has the experience to be an additional pivot in attack - Moylan for me, possibly brand whenever he’s fit but he’s probably got a torn calf - everybody else seems to get one

| I'd prefer Hanley to full back and Nisbet to wing over Hardaker to full back and Chamberlain to centre. Chamberlain has missed a ton of tackles in the games he's played recently. Looks like he needs a loan to the championship for a few weeks.
But I'd stick with Moylan at 1. The only reason to change that would be if McNamara is really struggling at 6. But we really need to offload Nakubuwai to free up a spot to go and sign Armstrong, or whoever else they might have lined up.

| Lam tried moving Jackson Hastings to fullback in 2021 and it never worked - surprised he's going down that route again when Hardaker is there.

| Sorry, yeh I did mean Hanley. Had a brain fart with that one. We can only dream seeing Sailor now he’s in the seventeen at the Broncos.

Didn't Moylan start out as a full back though? Three main problems with moving Hardaker there now are that his pace isn't great, nor is his ball playing ability to be an extra half like O'Brien. It would also see Chamberlain in the starting 17, and he's struggled recently

Correct , Moylan made his name in NRL at Full Back. The way we play , and I said similar at the start of last year is Lam likes an extra half coming into the line at Full Back .
Hardaker gives more grunt than finesse and I’m happy keep Zak at 3.
Not sure how many assists o Brien had last season but I would wager more than Reynolds which is probably why he will go with McNamara at half back until Gaz is back.

| What a bloody game. Mistakes but 100% effort and actually robbed as a clear knock-on on the ground in the tackle immediately before the last try. How the touch judge missed it is poor.
2 worries, Mulhearn did not come back on and Dwyer holding an arm limp after a tackle in the last minute.

| Every time this guy refs us there are confusing and bad decisions made. Glaring miss by the officials that cost us again. If that was the other way, he would have definitely seen it.

Are you saying the referee is corrupt?
Simple explanation, he made the mistake of running up field with his back to play rather than backing away. The TJ should have spotted it but is he corrupt as well?

| The glaring bad decisions he has made when refereeing us speaks for its self. Why has he got his back to the play when a player is in possession and in the process of being tackled and where was the touch judge looking. I am not the only one on here that has complained about this referee.

| That was incredibly frustrating. We really should've been out of sight before they scored their second try. Some poor play by our half backs really cost us. And Dwyer also made one or two ropey decisions.

It is par for the course, criticising referees is the easiest course of action, it means you can ignore the missed tackles, dropped balls, wrong choices, etc. It is always the referee’s fault. In the move that followed the “knock on” how many missed tackles were there?

| The players saw the clear and obvious knock on by the Warrington player and expected the referee to blow the whistle. He didn't which was down to the incompetence of the officials. The players should have played to the whistle, but it is not fair on the players blame them rather than excuse the officials for such a poor decision at a crucial point in the match. If it had been 'sent upstairs' the try would have been disallowed.

| Far from thinking that the Refs are corrupt / bent/ biased or however it’s phrased , the bigger teams , especially when at home appear to get the rub of the green .
Some of the decisions which have gone against us , saints away being 1 has been puzzling.
The same can be said when we have been flying high in the championship and we seemed to get some odd decisions our way.
The amount of times you see a ref making a wrong call, then realising his error on screen and making up for it
a few sets later is a regular occurrence.

| The nrl has it right. When a try is scored and the referee has awarded it, the bunker looks at all the build up to the try and if they see anything the officials missed, they bring it to the refs attention and replay the build up and show the infringement and then disallow the try. Wires try would not have stood as the knock on would have been spotted.

| The simple answer is bring in the captains challenge. We have cameras and a video ref at every game. The fact that this was missed by all the on field officials is poor but a captain’s challenge would have been the solution to this vital error and several more in every game. I do not personally rate this referee, but I do not think he is corrupt either. The bigger error was made by the touch judge in this instance for me, but regardless of who the finger is pointed at, a captain’s challenge would have lead to a different result.
