Strangely I agree with the standings

I’d have us more in the 8/1 range. Lots of unknowns of course but certainly don’t see us in a bottom 4 dog fight and think we have the potential to be top 3, and a strong final participant if we can be injury lucky at the right end of the season.

Think it was Sev who posted the odds before the start of last season. IBRC 20-1 then - so the bookies are taking us seriously. Bookies are generally the ones in the know, IMG.

Leeds Rhinos – New look Leeds spine - still don't rate the manager
Catalans Dragons – Squad rebuild
Warrington Wolves – New manager unknown potential
Hull KR – Recruited well, possible top 4
Leigh Leopards – Much depends on Matt Moylan - stable starting 13 with more strength in depth
Huddersfield Giants – Hugely disappointing in 2023 - plenty talent - potential unknown
Hull FC – Re-build after several years of decline
Salford Red Devils – In special measures - carcass of the team being picked apart by the SL vultures
Castleford Tigers – No money, no squad, championship manager - outlook bleak
London Broncos – Part-timers looking for a last pay day before IMG rankings kick in.

Leeds will not be in the top 6. Don't rate their coach at all even though they got to SL GF in 22. I can't see much change from this season so, in no particular order, I'm going for top 6 of Wiggin, Saints, Leigh, HKR, Catalans, Warrington. Salford may possibly squeak in to replace Warrington.

Your first 6 would be a good shout.

If things can settle at Salford they may push on, but off field concerns may filter onto the field to effect team morale.
I questioned if Catalan were a year too old last season and was totally wrong, so I’m not going to question them this with a few changes happening.

Agree about Leeds,but Salford NOT top six.
