| Well, my prediction skills are set to be tested yet again.
I'm going for a way out prediction just for a bit of fun and just to be provocative.
How about a comfortable Leigh win?
Realistically, a record score against Widnes could be on the cards, I think.

| No, Leigh have peaked too soon - got that authoritatively from the Fev forum (before last weekend)!
Seriously, can't see Kear being as gutted (at least not in the same way) as he was when Leigh pulled it out of the fire at the death at Odsal in the Challenge Cup. A very different Leigh now.
Q: What IS the record score over Widnes? Snowy might know? If not Mike Latham will and hopefully we'll all know after the game. COYL!

| Yes, Bongser, it would be interesting to know what the record score is and would appreciate input from others on this forum.
Any advance on the 54-16 scoreline from 27.03.11? - a score like that could be seriously under threat tomorrow

| Nice to see an extra 600 people in the crowd from last week.
Bit of a disjointed game and one I'm quite happy with as I'd take it as a "come down" fixture after last weeks shenanigans.
Had a feeling of just wanting everyone in the squad to score again in the second half and did turn into a bit of a training session with the aim of just completing our sets.
Shame about the last second try, would have been nice to nil them.
Chamberlain went well as did Brand and Aekins and Kai, big Ben was quite handy too and you can never overlook Ipape.

| Think Widnes deserve a lot of credit for the way they defended today. We obviously weren't at our best or most intense, but Widnes defended hard for 80 minutes and they should have some pride in todays result.

| Last try looked more than a little iffy. Of course we will never know because Leigh's camera always misses that corner.

| Widnes came today to fustrate, to niggle but most of all to tackle, which they did very well for the full 80 minutes.
All credit to them.
Leigh were a little off the boil today.

| If they play like that when it matters they could come unstuck, however as has been said above more like a training exercise, props acting as half backs, kicking early in the tackle count so we could set up defensively.
The only thing we can cross our fingers for is that we are ready when it matters, and to be fair with the coaching and player set up we have I see no reason why that won’t be the case -and I see no reason why we can’t hold our own next season as well

Well I couldn't care if that's the case, so long as we stay injury free for when it matters. It was 2nd gear rugby today, and I still enjoyed it nevertheless.

Yep injury, suspension free is vital.
Growing crowd, the hard part is that it all seems a walk in the until the play offs, in all honesty I’ve not attended much purely because the result is inevitable

| Good effort from Widnes defensively I second half. Showed a lot of grit, can see them improving next season under Kear. Quite happy to see us win with big margins after last season. Some real quality on show if you appreciate RL Ipape, Ferguson and Asiata work the ticket price on their own.

| Having watched the highlights of the Fev v Workington game , they conceded 3 very soft tries although Connor Jones for Fev scored some excellent tries.

| Just a reminder Fev very nearly lost to the same Widnes team a few weeks ago....
