We will need to stop them down the middle to be in with a shout. Do that and I think we squeak it, if we can time the majority of the linkups that hit the ground in the two warm-up games.
Two big ifs but either way I will be behind the lads all season.

Heres hoping.
Lets not beat ourselves.With these new rules game is non stop and a real test on fitness and intensity.Can we stay with them force some errors impose our game.
Also be nice to see some innovation. |

No Mellor or so it looks, so likely Brierley in the halves unless they get Reynolds over PDQ
Nowhere a chunk of our starting 17 available yet, and not be for Friday so it seems - although in reality we shouldn’t have expected anything from the first 2, so get the bodies back for when it matters |

Out of nowhere comes mention of a return to the club of Ben Reynolds.
First mention of this, so far as i can see, is in Manchester Evening News article from yesterday which was repeated in today's Love Rugby League press review.

Not getting much luck with these injuries. Always going to be a problem with a small squad. Bit of a nightmare for Duffs at present,but, things as you say can only get better.
Don’t have an issue with Brierley in the halves, the pass that saw Thonley in v pies was class. |
