A second half improvement proved enough to see off a Barrow team that has now troubled us three times this season. The first half was a dire affair until McNally scored just two minutes from the interval. A purple patch after half time proved decisive.

I understand why we have to have a run of away matches, but that run has coincided with a dip in form, and I bet the lads will be glad to be back at LSV for three weeks! In fact, four of our last six league games are at home - which could prove very handy!

Credit to them for grinding out the result, against a desperate Barrow side - and here's hoping Riddy shakes off what looked like a painful foot injury (being Riddy, he stayed on the pitch!) very quickly!

Maybe get Richardson back from Saints for a couple of weeks and give Riddy a rest especially as Ryan has a hairline fracture. Need some outside backs as well. Junior Sau deal seems to have fallen through. I see AJ was sat with Ryan today. Never been convinced by him as he gives away too many penalties and has the odd brain fart in defence, but needs must.

Good call that, Danny needs some game time, and Riddy could do with a breather.....
