Saints have just cancelled their DR agreement with Sheffield that they had last season. Looks like we will definitely be teaming up with them if they are sending Callum down to train with us.

Indeed it does. Yes Strange it is. The young lad was only on a pay as you play deal, unlike some others who do have a little contract money to fall back on.

Pity the owner is disillusioned to all of this.

I’m pretty sure he’s not, presumably the guy needs to earn an improved contract. Or do you suggest we pay him over the odds - because that’s worked out well for us in the past

Think we are on very dangerous ground relying on Saints dictatating who we can and can’t have. Like to think we have a little clout in getting who we need, but think there is very little chance of that

In all honesty I’m not even sure what the rules are as to how many loanees/DR we can have in the squad, all I can say is that we appear to be in a better position now than most expected at the end of last season

The maximum that can be played is 5 DR/Loans. But there isn’t any rule as to how many are in a squad.
