| Best team won undoubtedly, and no sour grapes from me, but why are they so niggly in the ruck, it is so frustrating to watch and really don't understand how they get away with it so much, or what they are trying to achieve
The Richards sin binning was a prime example, not sure who the Toronto player was but the tackle pretty much complete and he purposely sticks his knee in his head
The problem is that they can't get away with at at the higher level - the Wire game proved that. It looks to me as though Rowley is a one trick pony with his game plan/tactics.

| You beat me to it. Was thinking exactly the same. I lost count of the number of facials, forearms making contact with the head and general messing about yet they were hardly penalised for it. I thought someone as experienced as Gareth Hewer would have come down hard on them. Of course they were able to do it because they were so dominant in the tackle: it's much easier to come down on a player's head when three of you have him on his back. We badly missed some successful "grunt" last night; even the ever reliable Jordan Thompson seemed to be struggling with the conditions from very early on.

| Terrible first half from us poss conditions contributed. More successful when we played more expansively in second half. On another day both disallowed tries could have been given them may have got interesting. Hopefully chance for revenge if we make the 8s.
Why refs allow their niggle I don't get couple of years back we used to get hammer on the penalty count for it.

Brian it's very hard being a ginger in this sun and heat,I'm sure Jordan will tell you the same , I suffered sunstroke on Friday after my time in Blackpool,I thought the lads looked stronger than Toronto in the second half.

| They are a typical Paul Rowley side; arrogant, ill disciplined with no respect for the opposition.
I think if he gets them to Super League, he'll be sacked within a year, he'll get found out like he did with Leigh when we made the Middle 8s.

| Hats Off to Toronto But.........Here's a couple of IF'S. IF Leigh make the top 4,and IF Leigh beat Toronto in the M8s,then those 3 wins over us this season would mean jack $h!t.

Hello Charlie. That's a very interesting point which I hadn't taken into consideration (I'm just a baldy who suffers on the top of his head!) Certainly wouldn't like my comment to be a criticism of Jordan: he's been outstanding this year.

| It was stinking hot at the game and humid. 33 in the shade and heavens knows what it was out on the field.

Brian ,I didn't take it as a criticism,I just know how gingers suffer, as would Rhys Evans had he played,I agree about Jordan being a stand out player this year, as has Ben Crooks and Bodine Thompson .For me I think we will make the top 4.

Absolutely spot on !!!!!
We need to spank the teams in our last 4 games including Batley. No reason why we cannot stick 50 on them, and Hoody and Mortimer will have a field day if we play the ball quickly.
I cannot see any side winning in Toronto, but if we sneak 4th, I fancy we will do them.
We need a points diff of at least 200 over the next 4 games.
