| Well yesterday's game was a shambles! We just sat there and watched our team implode again! Our core skills appear to be sadly lacking which, is amazing considering the experience and pedigree of our players, (allegedly) ?
Worryingly for me is a distinct apparent lack of desire as opposed to our opponents! Yesterday Toulouse performed superbly as a team and they had no 'obvious' supporters to cheer them on!
I have to say, full marks to the North Stand for applauding Toulouse after they a scored a great try against us!
not too sure how many other clubs fans would have done that? I felt quite proud to be a Leyther
I wonder what our HT team talks consist of We'll fight them on the Beaches and, we will never surrender, NEVER.... whatever it is, its not WORKING
I cant help feeling this team is the worst we have had in four years, at least?
I mention our fullback has a player I did not rate when we signed him sadly, yesterday he just confirmed my worst fears! I have openly said many times that Gregg McNally was class, I think the Bradford fans will now confirm that theory!
We are currently in a right mess and I don't have the answers. On Sunday Riddys Fev roll into town and they are currently playing well and I dread to think what Riddy & Thackery will do to us

| Apparently he was also on this social media during the week with not nice comments to supporters who traveled up to Barrow. My daughter showed me one such comment from her phone.
I do have a lot of time for Derek as I would for most people prepared to invest (or waste?) £1.6 million of their own cash in our club. However If social media was around at the time , can you really can imagine Jack Hilton acting in similar vein. Or indeed Tommy Sale?
I do not think so.

| Unfortunately, his ego is much larger than his bank balance. I should imagine he will walk away after or before this season is out blaming the fans for complaining. I know we had a club with a great team spirit and playing champagne rugby with an excellent coach and then something happened between DB and Rowley and very soon anyone connected with Rowley was used and then ditched. We now have a team with no passion or heart and a coaching setup that isn't getting the results. It's a real paradox. Without DBs money we have no club. With DB we have a team full of professionals who couldn't win a game of bingo and an owner who just isn't professional in his outbursts on social media. Sad times, unfortunately.

| It does make you wonder how I went to Wembley and saw Leigh lift the Challenge Cup, or see Leigh pip Hull and Widnes to win the top division and be crowned RFL Champions. Marvelous days. How on earth did we manage it all with out Derek.
I do however know Derek, He is no quitter. He is a passionate Leigh RLFC supporter and occasionally like all us supporters, the passion is sometimes misguided and the fact you now represent the club becomes lost.
He will see it through. No doubt about it. He cares to much.

End of the family club image-I am afraid our owner has no respect for anyone-it's no wonder the past coach and players did not want to be employed by him and moved on-If he expresses his views in such a manner in public what is he like in private-time he took his money and went before he does more damage to the image of our club.

| Derek may have all the money, and the ego to match, but he is child-like on social media. Immature is a better word to describe him re his Twitter posts. If he is blind to what is going re the teams' performances to date then we are in serious trouble. Yesterday a significant number in the North Stand slowly but surely became Toulouse fans, applauding every try they scored in the second half. Each try was greeted with louder applause. I am all for Leigh fans showing some respect to the opposition, and few could deny that they didn't deserve it. The Leigh players were clearly embarrassed at the final hooter, some reluctant to approach the North Stand fans. The few that did, credit to them, thought the applause were for them, however it was mainly for the Toulouse players who came over to thank us, even shaking some fans' hands. Well done to them.
Next week, barring a massive improvement in every department on the pitch, the North Stand fans will become Fev fans for the day, and the way they are playing those Leigh supporters will have plenty to applaud. The Leigh players who have signed from Australia must be wondering what the hell is going on.
Sadly, the squad overall is unenthusiastic and lacking in ideas. Like it or not that is down to the Head Coach. Basic passing skills are to often missing from our game, and I do not see who the organiser is on the pitch. At this rate Riddy and Thackeray will carve us up next Sunday.
It's a tough decision Derek, but you have to make it for the good of the Club and the town. Neil Jukes must leave asap.

| Right, we've got what we were clamouring for - Neil Jukes' resignation. Now is the time to get behind Keiron Purtill ( a back as a coach - there's a novelty for us ) and the team and let's see if we can assist an improvement. Hopefully Keiron and then a possible new coach can galvanise the players into playing to their potential - with a smile on their faces.
As a footnote, I've always considered (being a confirmed flat cap) that social media can be a menace, especially in the hands of someone who believes passionately in something and may have had a glass or two of the old vino. Heck, we've even seen what can happen on social media, for the most powerful man on Earth, when he tweets first and then thinks later! (I'm talking about the President of the USA by the way - lest there be any mis-understanding! )

| Its taken a while to process what happened on Sunday.
Seeing us score in the 2nd half certainly lift the spirits.
Those around me appreciated why the north stand were clapping Toulouse but felt this would only encourage them, which it did and which was probably the aim.
The only other things that stuck with my was the PA playing "If Tomorrow Never Comes" by Ronan Keating, no loss of humour at least in that department and seeing Hansen approach who were probably his parents with sorrow and confusion in his eyes as fans shuffled out not even acknowledging him.

I'll take DB before Ian Lenegan any day of the week, and so would many others too! There's doubt he is ill advised to take the bait on social Media however, he is relatively a young Man and he will learn, don't forget, he's also an ardent supporter too just like me and you

Hi Itchy ......
For me the applauding of Toulouse *which I also did* was more a combination of frustration at the lack of progress & on field ambition & grit, admiration for a group who came to Leigh as rank outsiders & played as a team with heart & determination & a touch of good old British gallows/trenches humour, I wouldn't say it was designed to help TO13 at all but admit it might have had that effect as a by product.
As for the Aussies, well they won't get it, this kind of thing just doesn't seem to exist in Oz, the backs to the wall humour, the loud singing & chanting, it appears the NRL is very much more NFL alike, quieter *despite crowds 3 to 5 times larger* but the Brits will get it, H.H will get it & they need to.
I have said this elsewhere, the vast majority of the North Stand are Rugby savvy & having tasted the vastly superior Super League are less accepting of poor RL as a result *worth noting the West is very knowledgeable too*. The North seems more unforgiving more likely to rise up & be heard, some of that is beered up blokes yes, but in the main it is clued up blokes *& women*.
What I am saying is that a one off dismal display is likely to be forgiven but constant abject rank amateur performances will be punished & the wrath will be heard, which is just what happened on Sunday.
Everyone knows there are issues to be resolved & I don't think the resignation of Neil Jukes will solve them all *looking at you Cunningham* but now it is done it is perhaps time to focus on backing the team & recreating the hostile fortress that once was the LSV.
