re team selection I would definitely play that young lad from Hull who made his debut at Widnes.

Re forecast I always think Leigh will win.

Teams starting to look better - Brown has to have a run at FB, sounds strange after the Widnes game but you feel more confident with him there. Even in attack McNally has seemed predictable even though he acts as another pivot sometimes

Think we can assume he will be missing, can't remember the Rangi incident

but it's not much use to us

And it's not necessarily about making a break unfortunately, it's about controlling the game - unless Hampshire is on the wing he ain't going to get a gig, in fact he's probably behind Reynolds as a half for me - and Drinkwater before either of them before you suggest it

Mortimer wouldn't be fit to play Saturday because I'd only be here tomorrow at the earliest and they fly out Thursday he wouldn't know any of the moves etc etc

We could play him instead of Dawson cos he had a shocker at Widnes or scrum half cos Drinkwater had a shocker too.

He lands today, let's see what happens - personally I reckon he'll get a run out, he's obviously match fit after playing the last couple of weeks in the NRL- give him as much game time as possible to gel

Yes, it would help to get a few sessions under his belt, but in my opinion better to gel - I presume with Drinkwater - as soon as possible.

The result on Saturday is not critical, future performances more so

He's a young lad and will be over his jet lag by Saturday.
