Its not just a case of the novelty wearing thin.I don't see a reason why this fixture couldn't be played on the Sunday at 3-00PM..6PM kick off on a Saturday has probably cost a lot of bums on seats.These are reasons attendances are failing in RL.

If BT Sport had won the bid for SL,the exposure/monetary value of the sport would have exploded five fold on what Sly paid. Sly are killing the game,Woods needs to think before he winks next time.

Well if I remember rightly 6-00 Sat was our preferred option, stated by our owner before the fixtures came out - and as I see it this is the only one

I think it was actually 3-00pm on a Saturday, probably wrong, either way the preferred day was Saturday but as you say hasn't really happened. I don't really see what point there was in stating a preferred day.

It's certainly not the Wakey fans preferred away kick off time, traffic wise it's probably easier than a Friday night game, but a 6pm ko Saturday night will maybe kill a lot of interest from our fans.

But obviously it's home fans that are the important part , there is no perfect time for everybody

With Wigan still to come, crowds will average around 6500 which is pretty good.

Anything around 5500 is ok.

Arnt the Sat kicks offs for more corporate reasons ?

If the team is underperforming how many of the passive fans will keep turning up, by that I mean the non-season ticket holders, I was lead to believe by one of the guys in the ticket office that there are absolutley no more than 3K season tickets purchased, which compared to were we were some 3 years ago on total attendances it is very good.
Considering, the day and time, traveling supporters who may be put off by this, and yes recent results I expect under 5K for this match.

Bad turnout from the Leigh fans for the HKR cup game, North Stand barely half full, OK the season tickets will be back and already counted, will the other absentees, I hope so.

Crowds will go up and down based on results as per every sports club, don't think we'll drop below 4,000 in SL regardless of performances.

I'd rather have our crowds than Salfords crowds of late!
