And with the following players (Acton, Brown, Clare, Higson, Hock, Maria, Naughton, Paterson, Pelissier, Ridyard, Tonga) missing today for whatever reason, there surely isn't a major concern - IF they can get the majority back playing consistently in their favoured positions for the 2nd half of the season.

Surely Ridyard and Drinkwater are penned for the halves to replicate last years success. And the team may be less disjointed when frenetic Hampshire, moaner McNally and robotic Reynolds take a break. Either way injuries and suspensions have been pretty destructive up to this point.

Totally agree Frank, we didn't make 1 break at Salford and made 2 today,all opposing teams need to do is kick deep, put us on our own line ,because we can't full length of the field in 6 tackles, no way.

You dont need to, it could take a number of sets but you set the platform, dictate the game and keep turning the opposition round - the theory is not rocket science, putting it into practice is a different thing all together.
Our strength at the moment is when the forwards get on a roll - but when you are your best props down and best hooker missing 5 mins after coming on your expectations wouldn't be high, and it was proved to be

Didn't you coach Keiron in 98-2000, he had a very good kicking game as did Paul Cooke? Just need to get Ridyard and Drinkwater playing and working in synergy as last year.

So you coached him and know he was accomplished kicker when attacking the line as was Cooke. Thought Neil mainly potted conversions and penalties.

Paul Cooke had an excellent kicking game, as a player. I'm sure he is working with our kickers. I really do think we need to get Ridyard and Drinkwater together at half back - if they can stop getting injured! Incidentally, full marks to Josh for putting in a decent 80 minutes today, when, I reckon, he wasn't fully fit.
