Also, someone *forget who* claimed there would be a new sponsor, i.e not Degsy, again, anyone in the know who might be able to confirm or deny this claim ?

I think last season's 'pink' shirt deserves a place on that website. It was truly awful and whoever chose it needs sacking (if it was Derek he needs to let someone else pick this years). I think it will go down as one of the worst strips we've ever had.
I don't know why we can't go back to O'Neils, their shirts are much more superior and their designs knock Kukri out of the park. Cheap, that's all they are - cheap and shoddy.

Probably Kukri bid the highest to be kit suppliers Mish.
If I had any involvement in the Club I would be aiming a lot higher than Kukri & a lot higher in other departments too.

Correct Mish

I also didn't like last seasons shirt but got my son one as it was a "Leigh shirt" for me the best in the last 10ish years was the heavy, black body and red sleeves super league shirt ( i didn't even mind the yellow House Of Sharratt main shirt sponsor and the other one was more a wine colour almost huddersfield colours. very good quality hard wearing and both Kukri but yeah they do seem less substantial now. |

O'Neils were sheeite as are most RL stuff as we go for cheap tacky garbage, whatever happened to quality cotton with a collar. Kukri polos are much better though

It may not have been to your liking but if I may say so that is more than a little harsh considering it was chosen by one of the nicest and most loyal employee's the club has ever had. Further more it actually sold really well indeed, the numbers more than justifying the decision. |

I think the design was fine,just the quality of the shirt compared to previous jersey's was lacking this time round.It was more like a T Shirt weight wise.
