Liam was replaced by Dawson, Beswick by Hood, Emmitt by Tickle, and most importantly, Ryan and Rangi were replaced by Josh Drinkwater. (and Travis Burns) Whatever our varied opinions of Ryan Brierley and Rangi Chase, the signing of Drinkwater was, for me, the most vital of the lot. With every respect to the two departing half backs, I don't think we would have been celebrating a SL spot, had they stayed.

I agree Alan. We all have our favourites, but for me Drinkwater was the signing that got us to SL.

I felt we stepped up a level when Paul Cooke came on board.

I was praying we could get Josh to sign on the dotted for Super League, his game since arriving from the Oz NSW Cup comp was outstanding & he took hardly any time at all to click with Riddy.

Looking for Ben Reynolds to step it up a gear now & start challenging for a place, strength in depth is required especially if we are unfortunate with injuries.

Ben will make a brilliant half back imho. I think he can make it in SL

Probably take a few for this one.But I believe Ben is probably better off at a stronger Championship club next season to bring him on and hopefully get him prepared for SL 2018.

I agree there Atomic, he isn't ready for SL yet.

We will be DR with someone, we need Ben as we look to be running with 2 halves although Pellisier and Higham could stand in

Reynolds has more potential than Wigans Williams and should play with us in SL !

I must be watching a different Reynolds to you, George Williams is pure class,Reynolds must learn to run straight and take on the line,he is nowhere near SLclass.

I too would be interested to hear his reasons?

Kay states he was suspended in July for signing for Toronto.That effected him mentally so he had to get a work related stress sick note.

According to LE he was investigated by the club for mis conduct over 3 matters the move to Toronto, a video that was released at the time signing announced and comments on social media about the club.He was suspended in july for signing for Toronto which mentally effected him leading to a sick note
