Can we beat the 7 and half thousand that attended the Bradford league game last season? Does anyone know how non-season ticket sales are going so far and is the East Stand being opened?

Agreed, Bradford brought about 2000 that day. Hudds will bring a fraction of that.
5000ish would be pretty good. Shame it is on SKY as it is always going to harm the attendance. |

Totally agree, shame really as if it were not on Sky then 6k + would be achievable. That's the price of success I suppose, do well & Sky want you on telly & why wouldn't they ? It's a great story so far.

Bradford are bringing at least two to this if any of you are kind enough to offer me advice on getting there by public transport.
Current thoughts are train into Manchester, and hopefully a bus from there to Leigh. Any thoughts on where in Manchester I could do that?
That is presumably viable on a Saturday afternoon but I'm not well informed on general levels of infrastructure, paved roads and the like. I've only been over on club coaches before and nearly always have both eyes and ears firmly closed on those.
(If you see a big skinhead in Bradford colours, hopefully in amongst you, that would be me.)

Yes Public Transport Links to Leigh are great.
Walk down from Manchester Piccadilly Station to Wetherspoons and catch the V1 outside the pub door to Leigh, which travels via the East Lancs Road and then joins a special Guided Busway Track for the last 8 miles direct to Leigh Bus Station. The V1's (AKA Purple Rockets ) run every 15 mins from Piccadilly and take no more than 40/45 mins.
They are every 15 mins return from Leigh Bus Station to Piccadilly and run up to around midnight. You will be made to feel most welcome if you want to enjoy a few pints up Leigh post match before travelling home.
