In my opinion Paul Cookes signing has seen a marked improvement in our backs play

Early days but Higson is our best back this season by far. Fully committed with great energy.

Think we saw a bit more composure today in very poor conditions. This meant the backs got a bit more service, and the opportunity to show what they can do.

higson head and shoulders above any of our threequarters this season. Mind he's the only one to of been fairly injury free, never known a year with so many injuries to our backs.

Joe, in his time at the Club , Willie has played around 3 ,40 minite periods ,his last game was Swinton away when he went off before half time, now nobody expects to get injured but should we have cut our losses with him,I would say yes, and spend the cash on a fit player who will be useful to us come the middle 8s.
