| In 51 minutes of rugby, two tries, three goals, one assist, two 40/20 kicks ! (Thanks to Mark Taylor for the stats)
Sounds like he had a very impressive debut. If he, Riddy, Drinkwater, Reynolds, Higham and Hood are all fit going in to the eights, Niel Jukes has a difficult but at the same time very nice selection challenge ahead of him.

| Travis Burns showed today what a class act he can be - a game changer who looks hungry, like he has come to play. Based on this display he looks like an excellent signing.
Cory Patterson also made a very welcome and telling return.
If we can keep these two guys fit they will both be making major contributions for the remainder of the season.
Good to see Fui back also but he unfortunately picked up a knock to his knee - let's hope it is not too serious.

| Burns did look a class act. Although Fui did injure his knee, he came back on and did a lengthy stint. Looks not to have put all the weight back on, either.

| You do wonder what Cunninghams problem was with him after watching saints struggle to create anything on Friday

| Players that have game changing quality have to be allowed to play what they see.
The freedom to react to the situation is the very reason they change games. Clearly there have to be some constraints that fit the overall game plan but these cannot be allowed to stifle such natural talent.
Travis played last night like a guy who had had a weight lifted off him. He completely controlled the game in the second half giving the whole team a massive lift.
I guess Neil Jukes may have also blistered the paint on the dressing room walls at half time following our lack of respect for possession in the first half. Our completion rate shot through the roof in the second half.

| Travis Burns. Quite simply in a league of his own. Really should not be playing in the championship on that display, it was a joy to watch.

| Great halves create great doubts in defences by taking the ball to the line with support runners

| Had an excellent game, looked really creative & stepped up when Reynolds went off. With Ridy/Reynolds/Drinkwater/Burns & Higham/Hood/Burns options Jukesy is going to have a few selection headaches if they all keep playing as they have been.

| Well I also made the long trip up to Whitehaven and despite us being poor in the first 40 mins,we should still have taken a commanding lead at the break. We bombed two clear cut scoring chances 1st half when perhaps it would have been easier to score.
At 60 mins and 12.12,we were in a proper arm wrestle and two players stood up to pull us out of the mire. The two half backs still on the pitch began to show case their class.
Travis Burns and Josh Drinkwater

| That was one of the best dabuit's for Leigh I have ever seen. After a promising opening 10 minutes there followed an excruciating period that lasted until the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half, with Leigh being totally directionless, with completed sets less than 50 per cent. Then Burns just took over and moved up anther gear, injecting much needed pace into the Leigh attack, as well as a superb kicking game that produced a couple of 20/20's and several short deft kicks resulting in goal line drop outs. This guy is a class act-brilliant signing!!!

Very exciting to hear that our newest signings made such a good duo first time out. Haven't see had chance to see the game yet as I've been out all day but going to watch it now and look forward to watching them together..

| Seeing Drinkwater and now Burns, perhaps people will understand just what a Scrum Half / Stand Off should be like?
The past three years Ryan Brierley has been our Scrum Half and when Riddy has been unavailable we seriously lacked direction. Ryan is an absolute top class finisher and gave us many moments to savour, with is blistering speed! I've always know he is not a Scrum Half as his talents are in the finishing Dep't, not, in the starting Dep't!! It didn't take Huddersfield long to see where Ryan is best suited however, it beats me how the so called 'experts' in the game Sky, BBC etc.....
continued to refer to him as the best 'halfback' outside Super League?
Anyhow, enough of that I'm absolutely delighted to see Josh and Travis pulling the strings for Leigh, long may they continue to
