Well that looked... ominous!



They looked fantastic today and we are going to have to be at our very best to give ourselves a shot.

Some of the imports they have look a class above, especially Albert Kelly.

Going to be tough next week, hopefully today took a lot out of them.

Look at their form though Nozzy. One week world beaters the next week getting stuffed. I just hope that they bring the latter game next week and Kelly has an off day.

Positives - they'll have a hangover from the semi final and will have their eye on the final.

Negatives - their fans won't travel over for the game against us as they will be saving for the trip to London. Especially as it's on sky. That will cost us financially, hence the pleas from the club Leigh fans to buy tickets.

Don't care how many they bring as long as West and North are packed. It will be a bonus whatever they bring but we need to get behind our team and intimidate their team in the nicest and politest possible way.

I think they need to win all the matches before Wembley as they will not get over the hammering that Leeds give them. I reckon they have moved up to the vulnerable category as all their imports will have their eyes on Wembley and injury will not be an option.

Was hoping that Wire would knick it last minute and leave them physically and emotionally drained but that would have been undeserved, they played well today. If we play our best it should be a fantastic game, gutted I'm going to miss it. It'll be Widnes & Wakefield who they play either side of the final will benefit, not sure it'll make much of a difference to anyone else. I still think Hull KR will be safe but that could be a vital win for Wakefield the week after the final which could throw our plans off!

They played better than Warrington who I thought were quite poor with the exception of Hill and Simms.

To paraphrase Matthew 6:26 (after watching KR today, I can only be thankful that God is a Leyther), my "aye" is with the (Lowton) Sparrow. Yup, when the gap got to two points, I thought "Go on Wolves, utterly deflate them now". Wasn't to be, and the tykes deservedly won. Someone has commented that KR blow hot and cold. Well The Wire have been the same all season. We got their hot version, KR got their cold. Let's hope for a chilly to frozzzzen turn up from the Humbersiders next week. Can't see an emoticon for fingers crossed ( hope not deceit).

You got the hot version! you're having a laugh mate, you played them when they were in the middle of a slump, most people on RLfans will tell you it's the worst wire have played this year against you and still won, Salford were decimated with injuries and suspensions and Wakey should have and will spank you now they have sorted their coach out, the truth is you're a championship side now and will still be at the end of the season.

I think we will win but your better than a championship side to beat one SL side is a good feat and sometimes happens (we did it) to beat 2 and run another very close is no fluke can't wait for next week

We might be a championship side next season but i know who i would rather watch. We also have not acted against the spirit of the game in signing 9 players just for the qualifiers. Yes i know no 'rules' have been broken. Enjoy your time sharing at the SL quality stadium that is Dewsbury. If you can't respect others for their achievements then you get no respect from me.

Don't agree with you, Phil Webbo. Warrington in a slump when they beat Leythe? You don't think that they blew hot and cold this season? Firstly let's look at their SL results in order:

When was the slump? Four SL losses on the bounce from March 19 to April 6 (32-24, 29-10, 30-10, 22-14). Next 80 without reply against the Wildcats. Lost the next one.

Thanks for your comments regarding our win today. Rovers will travel in numbers next week looking forward to the game. We beat Wigan at your place and your form is good at home to me it could go either way.

The best thing is "most people on RLfans" know a good side when they see one, but some just can't accept the fact.

Warrington back too normal ways as been all season. HR will have too be better than that to beat us.

Next week's game promises to be a cracker, don't anyone doubt that the visitors won't be up for it, they will want all the points on offer before their Wembley trip. How we performed against Wire and vice versa is irrelevant.

Well I thought Wire were poor today but credit to HKR.

Do I think they'll beat us next Saturday ? Well no.

It has been a while but right there is the Hull KR fans we know and love

Hull KR are a strong side as my team found out earlier in the CC. We matched them for a long period though and the score line wasn't really a reflection on how close we got to beating them. I think Leigh will go very close and might just pip them if Hull KR come into the game a little flat after investing so much for the semi final. Sometimes that 'flat' performance comes a game or two after but either way I expect it will be a cracker at LSV.

I think the start will be important for all clubs in these 8's, any club losing a few matches early on will really feel the pressure, particularly if they're a SL club.

Hull kr looked very good yesterday and I think they will have no problems staying in super league. Think we will give them a game but will come up a bit short but the rest of the games are very much winnable if we get anything from the hull game it will be a bonus.

I too thought Warrington was poor. Kr defended well. Gamelan simple for Leigh, Run at Kelly and attack their left edge. That looked vulnerable. Kay and Armstrong might have a good day!

HKR are a very good team with some very good players ,why folk think they won't be up for the 8's or will be a flat is beyond me, the 8's qualifiers are more important than Wembley to Rovers , it's their bread and butter,I think Leigh will give them a good game on Saturday ,will Leigh win?My heart says yes, but my head says no,as for getting to SL I take nowt for granted and getting there will be a very big achievement for Leigh,again I'm not confident about this , maybe I'm just a pessimist.
