Leigh Centurions can confirm the initial ticket selling arrangements for their forthcoming Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Sixth Round tie against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

The tie will be played at Belle Vue Stadium on Sunday 17 May 2015 with a 2-15pm kick-off.

Leigh Centurions will receive an initial allocation of 900 seating and standing tickets from Wakefield and these will go on sale at the ticket office at Leigh Sports Village from next Tuesday.

Further tickets will be supplied on demand.

Priority will be given to season ticket holders, LISA members and Leigh Lottery members and tickets will go on general sale from Tuesday 5 May.

Please note that tickets purchased before midday on Saturday 16 May have a discount on the matchday admission price.

Hunslet Hawks Round 13 Kingstone Press Championship fixture:

Please note that Leigh Centurions’ scheduled Kingstone Press Championship Round 13 game against Hunslet Hawks at LSV originally scheduled for the same date has been postponed. This game will not be played on the following Wednesday as per usual RFL Operational Rules as the pitch at LSV is unavailable for several weeks due to pre-planned and essential annual maintenance. This game will now be rearranged for later in the season and an announcement will be made as soon as the revised fixture date is known.

I take it thats cost a week in maintenance due to the Wigan v Hull KR cc round.

I think it was factored in that Leigh could be at home this weekend, thus maintenance starting Monday and will be complete before our next scheduled home match.

Thats my point Maurice.The Hunslet game can't be played on the following Wednesday due to maintenance.So ground maintenance could have been brought forward one week as to accommodate the Hunslet match...

But that cant happen now, as Wigan are in town on the Friday..

I see it as after the scheduled Leigh game against Hunslet on the Sunday 17th May LSV would be unavailable for several weeks (our next home fixture isn’t until 21st June) due to pre-planned maintenance, I’d guess starting on the Monday 18th May, and this is why we can’t play on the Wednesday following.

Wigan playing at LSV on the Friday has no effect on us at all, in fact I would have imagined if we’d have been drawn at home, they’d have still played there Friday and us on the Sunday. And maintenance still would have commenced on the Monday.
