Looks like Russell had a good look at Ryan during the WCS recently and has struck a deal for Ryan to move to the NRL at the end of the season for an undisclosed fee. In return Leigh will also be getting Jason Clark and Jack Gosiewski on loan from June to aid our SL push with their wages being paid by souths
Imo opinion a very brave decision by Ryan to test himself at the highest level and hopefully the extra two players will push us over the finishing line come the play offs. I assume this was the press conference for later today

If, and I mean a big "if" this is true, then dependant on the compensation paid to Centurions, this could be an excellent deal.
Ryan is a fantastic player we all know, but there is other talent out there (if you have the necessary £££)
The push towards SL is everything & if the Souths players enhance our chances, then all is good in the hood AFAIC..
If it is a 1st April stunt, then it's still good PR, "any news is good news" as they say.
