Think for large spells today we were really impressive but quite worryingly at times we are down right stupid and shoot ourselves in the foot! It's ok against the likes of donny. But can't do all the defending against the likes of Bradford/wakey. Though Dixon was outstanding again today! The back line run some unreal lines we just have too work on completion rates! The rugby we play is outstanding but at spells in a Any game it takes a bit of the up your jumper basics!! Thought hoppy got through a ton of work when he was on

I could quite happily forget chunks of the game today. It does seem however the name of Leigh Centurions is not spreading well enough. A sheffield fan arriving today asked who were the fans in red and white. I told him and then he completely floored me with 'are they in the same league as us'. There was an obvious answer but I restrained myself.

Well if it was a Super league team.You could use the excuse of playing the Aussies as too poor performance.Being we are in the championship we dont have that luxury of an excuse.Yet we are all only 4 games into the season and have scalped both ex Super league teams already.

The score today, some will say we conceeded points unnecessarily..Full credit to the Centurions today as they did what they had to do in classic style.

Listened to the match on mixlr and it seemed, again, that Leigh didn't need to get out of 3rd gear. I will watch the match tomorrow on LCTV.

Ant we were far from being very very good , YES we scored some great tries , both individual and team tries , Liam Kay and Tom Armstrong had very good games , but to let in 3 soft tries was a bit dissaponting , we dropped a fair bit of ball as well , but on the whole a decent win .

I would take that scoreline anyday of the week , and Dixon , Barlow , and Spencer all had good games , as you say more testing for the future and next week will be very hard .

Well for once I agree with Charlie.

Although we were by far the better side our defence let in 3 soft tries.

I also thought three of our tries came off forward passes.

I am happy with the win though.

We played some very good skillful attacking rugby today, kept breaking through their line & they couldn't catch us when we did. Only slight concern is the same as against London, with the result in no doubt & us well in front against a team that didn't look very threataning we tended to not go all out in defence; fine, maybe but not a habit I'd want us to get into. Still with a win like that can't complain. Also good to see Spencer and Acton back, Rowley will really have a hard time picking the team with everyone available.

Just watched the match now and it's a Catch 22, isn't it? Leigh WAY better than Docaster all over the field and once the lads knew the game was over little errors crept into our play. Understandable to be fair, but as long as we don't make a habit of doing that we'll be OK. They same complacency will affect your Bradford's etc too, so let's just hope we handle that issue the better.

Apparently, we've been hit with quite a few injuries too so we'll see how they pan out. Injuries to key players are more frustrating after these type of, "easier" matches.

Player performance wise - all the lads great for me. Everyone did their jobs. 54 points away from home speaks for itself. And to be fair, 3 tries to a home side that didn't give up isn't too bad, even if they were soft.

Leigh are a young side going in the right direction. We're lucky fans.

Agreed, it doesn't really matter but I do think that's the difference between an excellent side and a truly great one; look at South Sydney against St Helens, the score didn't matter, every time they had the ball they were doing everything to score, every time Saints had it they were doing everything to stop them. Still it's alright now, sensible to avoid injuries, but need to be careful, don't want to be doing it against a better team & have them come back into the game.

Exactly. I'm confident that when a match is close and the opponents are better that we'll play and stay focussed for 80 minutes.

At times yesterday Leigh upped their game with ease, offensively and defensively, and Doncaster had no answers whatsoever. That shows Leigh have loads more in reserve for when the better teams come around.

We were only focused for 40 minutes against the Bulls..But thats all it took..
