Leigh Centurions can confirm that the Easter Monday (6 April) home Kingstone Press Championship fixture against Workington Town will have a 1-30pm kick-off.

Confirmation of this kick-off time now completes the Centurions’ scheduled Kingstone Press Championship fixtures for 2015, but these note are subject to change by the RFL.

Do we know the challenge cup round dates? Can these be incorporated in the fixtures?

I always look at these fixtures and think we have a blank weekend and then suddenly its Leigh v Leeds in the challenge cup and I am already booked in some hotel in Eastbourne or sommat.

The 10 winning teams from the second round will then face Kingstone Press League 1 opposition in the third round (March 7/icon_cool.gif. Kingstone Press Championship clubs enter the fray in the fourth (April 21/22). The bottom four teams in the 2014 First Utility Super League season enter in Round 5 (April 18-19) with the top eight Super League teams in 2014 joining in Round 6 ( May 16-17).

So the 5th round is the weekend of 11th / 19th or 18th /19th depending on where you source the info from? Ah well it will all be obvious to 'Saley89'

11th-19th is a pretty big weekend it must be said. As the 19th is the common denominator, I'd go along with that.

Does somewhat sum up our game as a whole though that something so simple can be stuffed up in such a manner.

Meanwhile back to the subject of this thread - what's the reason for the early kick-off on a Bank Holiday Monday?

Think it's so we can watch Saints v Wigan' which is on Sky at 3pm.

Last Good Friday v Swinton think we kicked off at 12pm.

So the Workington lads can be back home and tucked up in bed, before it goes dark?
