Just seen on Twitter an image of the screen, showing TRY and a photo of Riddy, was this from Sunday or someone 'playing/improving' on what we currently have? Regardless its something I've moaned about in the past so for me its a great step forward by those involved well done







We should show players photos as the team is announced also, if we didn’t already do so last Sunday.

I'll see what we can do — it's a great idea and I've attempted it before. There are some practical issues that stopped us doing it, but I'll revisit it with fresh eyes and it'd be great to make it happen.

I saw the photo, it looks good. As something that not many clubs have the screen is definitely under used. Would be good to get players photos & names up, when the team is read out, when they score, when an interchange is made, ect, if we can.

I agree, it is under used. GLOW has some really good idea's that can add some real value to the match day experience.

Let's be honest the future of this club is not the likes of me, it's the young one's and we need to give it all the razzmataz that embraces the modern world. It is not about turning up to watch a game of rugby for 80 mins any more and then going home for a Sunday roast. For a youngster there are lots of other leisure activities to enjoy now a days. We need to throw other bits into the mix and a pop star for the Bradford game is a step in the right direction and should be applauded.

( The fact I personally have never heard of her is completely irrelevant. They are not doing it for Harold Rigby otherwise the club would be offering games of fives and three's in the legends bar after the match)

On the subject of 'big screens', are we/LSV using the one OUTSIDE the stadium yet, to advertise the fixtures? In view of the 'footfall' around the stadium, Morrisons, college etc, I've always thought that is an excellent medium to advertise our games. Last season we didn't use it but, hopefully we are going to this season?

As most things are, it was a team effort. I'm not sure who designed the slides, and my contribution was along the lines of how we'd get the correct pics on the screen at the correct time.

The screen was better yesterday and I've another suggestion to make it even better........................PUT A BLOODY WORKING CLOCK ON IT. I thought we'd sussed the clock issue last year but alas not,

Sometimes the small clock is sacrificed for the sake of the big screen because fuses regularly blow in it leaving panels dark, and they use the same type of fuse. If there's a shortage because the fuses are on order then it sometimes means the small LCD screen can't be used.

The current software we use isn't capable of displaying a live clock, but should that change then we'd be delighted to put a clock on it (though it probably would't be linked to the timekeeper)

Alternatively people can just look at their watch or phone!

Yeah or just look at the position of the Sun/stars or even take an egg timer eh. Very shoddy for a ground with state of the art facilities don't you think.

No. It doesn't bother at all. When I go to modern stadiums like Wembley, Old Trafford or the Etihad I don't look for a clock. Whether they have one or not it wouldn't affect the enjoyment of the event in any way whatsoever.

But they do have them AND I look at them. Like I say SHODDY. I couldn't care less if "your" bothered or not but a stadium that is the home of an ambitious club like ours and claims to have all the bells and whistles of a modern stadium should at least be able to have a "working" clock.

If only we have something like this.... a stunning timepiece.

Clock doesn't really matter that much to me, we've never had one that's worked



But that could be the answer bring back the old clock from HP the one at emirates is the old Highbury one, perhaps we could fund its refurbishment and installation.
