Oh dear it has escalated rapidly. Both parties doing themselves no favours.

It is pathetic, two high profile figures in the game acting like silly girls.

But most of it doesn't involve Mr Koucash. Derek is just having some banter with someone else.

Maybe it would be advisable for everyone with a responsibility in running Leigh to now stop going on about this as I think the point has been made about Brierley and its not as if we only have one quality player.
Lets not become as media obsessed as some other owners of RL clubs and instead focus all our energy on building our club up.

The public spats with a former fellow director was bad enough, These 2 high profile figure within their clubs is embarrassing to RL , One bragging he has £££s, One saying if he wanted him he`d get him no matter what. Promises of RB going out free instead of to Salford, Ryan being a Salford fan has seen that chance (be it whenever) gone up in smoke

Storm in a teacup imo.

DB is just as big a fan of our club as me and again' imo is being lighthearted.

Maybe, but should someone in his position be discussing 'them' matters on twitter? embarrassing episode if not amusing.

We have a passionate bunch of Directors at the Club. It must be difficult, given their commitment, not to rise to the bait when they see an outrageous post.

Nevertheless, there are strict rules in place, about what the players can/can't say on social media. (wasn't Ryan restricted in his use of it recently?) Surely those rules ought to apply to club officials too?

Someone needs to rein DB in, the problem is who can?

Different argument that PAL, And you wont get me defending them. I havent questioned your fans once so not a like for like argument really is it?

If you do converse in like for like though compare our directors behaviour etc with yours, Did ours take out full page ad in response to the scenes at LSV? Were our directors dignified albeit embarrassed and moved quickly to put right the wrongs, Banning people, Headshots publised etc? Did our directors take to social media in a petty rant with rentagob from another SL team?

It's good that Derek is so passionate and ready to defend the club and our players but it is getting a bit much now, just needs to state the facts as they are & leave it at that instead of raising to insults.

You seemed to be unclear as to whats embarrassing to RL, the twitter conversation is open to opinion what we saw live on TV wasn't. Salford and Leigh have owners whose personalities are what they are, both communicate on twitter which is their choice
My opinion of what Widnes as a club did after LSV was smoke and mirrors, but I wouldn't be squatting on the Widnes fans board trying to make that point

So what you saw on the TV at LSV isnt open for opinion? Really? Dont be silly, My opinion is there should have been arrests but it differs from the Police opinion of the event, Be real

Koucash thinks he can do what the hell he likes in this game. In us he found a whole club from Derek, Paul and Ryan we didn't bow down to a guy who thinks he can sign who he likes when he likes !

That was mine as well Ste, but our Chemic squatter seems intent on sheeite stirring when Andy, Alan and Myself are all very happy to continue to help this club be the best it can be because we are fans who want the best for it
