no show again tonight is it true andy mazey has left

I have been told from a very reliable source that mazey has NOT resigned. Not sure if the question was asked, or if my informant got it via other channels. I desperately hope andy does not leave, he has been simply a brilliant board member, and our club would be alot poorer without his input

I think I am probably best keeping my opinions on this to myself for the time being. However as the club liked to say during the off season, 'we are in this together'.

A real shame if true. Andy's a Leigh lad through and through and would only go if he was pushed. It does seem like the club is being absorbed to just one majority share holder (who admittedly is also a true Leigh supporter ) but the "sheen" and transparency of last seasons new BOM is getting slightly tarnished as Roddy, Parker and maybe even Andy Mazey feel the need to leave.

Whats Rob Parker got to do with anything

I'm disappointed with Derek for raising ownership issues in a public forum such as Twitter. No idea what's happening but we shouldn't wash our dirty linen in public.

Rob was not a board member or club owner which was the point of my post. The discussions are not centred on the feel good factor but more a boardroom squabble.

Ah the fighting behind the scenes has begun. I thought the last eighteen months were too good to be true. We just need members of the management team to start slagging off sponsers and the divisions in the dressing room next and normal service will have been resumed. Oh well it was nice while it lasted.

Andy Mazey seems to have been a simply brilliant Board member as I have personal reason to confirm. What reasons justify his leaving?

Mr Beaumont seems well out of order in the way he tweeted on this. As someone said 'is this back to the same old Leigh'? What a shame if all true.

Maybe common sense can still prevail.

I was stating the feel good factor that the new BOM had brought into the club AND the feel good factor that R Parker and his good work has brought in . Rob was a driving force in the close/start of the season and worked alongside Andy with the involvement with the fans. The discussions are what they are and unless you are the forum Gestapo I can voice my opinion on the subject of a board member "allegedly" leaving and mentioning other staff also going. ....................as I first thought Way over your head.

I really really hope Derek and Andy can sort things out. What they have done over the season along with the other board members has been absolutley amazing. Please sort it I thought we were in this together . The players don't need all this uncertainty before a massive game .

Whilst I am not the greatest fan of all the members of the BOM, I would be the first to acknowledge what they have ALL achieved working TOGETHER. I hope they are ALL in it for the full ride.

Guess not everyone can 'agree on things' or even 'get on'....but unfortunately with the World Wide Web, some things become public knowledge, when they are better remaining private.
Some folk seem to have looked at Andy's tweets, and worked out he's now involved with Swinton (maybe true ?).

Ego's always get in the way at sports clubs along with spats that people take personally along with a clash of club commitments v business commitments and people losing interest in a cause.
If any of our BOM have left then it won't be the first time its happened or the last at any club.
So long as whoever leaves has their input and workload replaced with another person then the club carries moving forward and the main things at the club (the team and supporters) remain unaffected by it all.

Hope its not true - seems like a top bloke Andy, and from what I see was at the forefront of setting up this new board.

If true I hope DB knows what he is doing for the sake of the club - big money has been committed for the next few years

I too rate Andy as a top bloke and can't understate what he has done in the past 18 months or so.

I have always been a fan of beaumont. However what i heard about his behaviour after the last home game is disapointing to say the least. DB dont slag the ref off, especially when u have won. It just makes u look like a t€t.

I see all this has been censored on the facebook page which is allegedly so much better than this 'faceless' forum. Make of that what you will.

Board in fighting and dummy spitting doesn't help the cause at all. They are asking us to try and convince lapsed fans to return and yet here we are again, with turmoil in the board room. Sooner or later the wheels always come off the Leigh Rl bus.
