Well done to Ando, Finny and everyone connected with this talented group of young lads who have done the club and the whole town proud tonight winning the U20s Grand Final



Special mention for Don Boyle who is U20s team manager and I've seen first hand this year the sacrifices this man makes for the love of the club and for the genuine love of the game.

The coaching staff and players will have a good night and receive all the plaudits and rightly so but I want to thank and show respect to Don, Derek and others who turn up year in year out to help in any way they can and ask for nothing in return. This club has been built on volunteers and people who roll there sleeves up when needed for nothing in return. These are the people who truly reflect Leigh Centurions.

And what a great guy Derek Beaumont is. He made sure that the number one priority at the end of the game was to get the players to take the trophy to the fans for pics.

Seriously though great gesture, the fans are the major stakeholder so must enjoy and feel part of every success.

Worth noting that Swinton wouldn't get that many in LSV for a Championship game.

What was the crowd by the way?

900 ish

believe crowd was 984 on the night. A great crowd,very noisy and showed appreciation to both teams. What a win.When my heart calms down I may come down from the Top of Leigh Spinners Factory Chimney.
