I thought on Friday he was the MOM, and watching the game again now I'm even more convinced he was MOM.

Rightly or wrongly there's often been question marks about his defence, but he was virtually faultless on Friday.

Charlie had Tom as MOM on Friday , this lad is getting better with every game , a future SL star no doubt , I just hope hes not out for to long with his shoulder .

Rugby paper gave it tom spencer. In fact he got player of the week. Armstrong played well though they all did

Armstrong certainly seems a big game player.

Definitely the best game I've ever seen him play for us, including his previous spell here.

I reckon he would have already been playing Super League if Full time rugby didn't get in the way of his full time studying. Recent part time contracts have suited him. Full time training and Tom would be even better.Not sure if in the first instance it was the reason he left Saints to come to us as he couldn't commit full time. Maybe wrong though

IIRC When we interviewed Tom earlier in the season he told us that he had obtained a degree associated with the petro-chemical industry, he was reluctant at that stage to carry on and obtain his masters degree as it would mean full time study in London for a further two (?) years.

Very hard to choose a player out of that performance but for me, if there was a stand out it was Tom. He was class in go forward and immovable in defence. Not only that but he was playing, severely, through the pain barrier toward the end and should of come off earlier but just kept putting his hand up to carry on. Immense effort and hopefully won't be without him for too long!

It wasn't seen on TV, but when Watkins put that great shot on Armstrong, and his shoulder was hurt for the second or third time, Watkins leaned over him to see if was OK, helped him up, it was a true mark of respect........

If a scene could paint words , that said "I'm the best centre in SL, but you are marking me out of the game, and playing me off the park!"

Tom was brave to carry on you could see it was hurting
He said he won't be out too long it's a AC I jury and you can never tell
Hope it's only a few week
We need him back ASAP

So, is he going to court to get it sorted, or hospital?!
