Wow!! I was watching Mark Taylor's updates but had to nip out when we were 24 - 0 down. I thought Halifax were gonna tear us a new one and couldn't believe it when I got back in and saw we were 24 all!!

What a fantastic performance from the lads. I can't wait to watch the game on LCTV.

Just got back from the game brilliant Astmosphere Fax played really well first half on the back of some poor defence at times from Leigh turning point was scoring right on half time then again just after half time Once Leigh started throwing the ball out wide they looked unstoppable at times and scored 30 points in a blistering second half performance some great defence from 12 man Leigh that was one hell of a match the Fax fans could,nt believe they lost that one LOL Great Game and good banter with the Fax fans near me...

I never lost the faith and told fellow Leythers at HT we would win.



Second half comeback was amazing.

just got back ,what a second half, definite turning point was when Sam scored just on half time ,then got sent off in second half, the lads were brilliant in second half

Fax fans all complaining about ref giving us 6 points with forward passes. I was in a right old mood at quarter to four today. Come five I was the happiest mon alive.

That was bloody brilliant!!

Thought the ref caned us in the first half and missed fax being offside quite a few times , our tackling needs to improve before we play Fev as if they re 24 in front they'll be no coming back ......

Gutted, we should have seen you off at 24-0 but funny thing RL its all momentum, we had it first half and got one lucky try, it swung your way second half and you got 2 lucky tries but I have to admit you had us out wide once you realised that and we went dumb not using the extra man until it was too late, only moan for me was that we missed our best player today in Ben Johnson which would have made a difference as we had a hooker at scrum half, he did well but we missed a kicker as well as Murrell.
Anyway well done you reminded me of the Fax team of the Calland era, a soft belly but a good attack. We are lacking in width a very Karl Harrison team.

Yup, and we know Rowley is too much of a professional not to make that very clear to the players in training this week. 99 times out of 100 you don't get the chance to come back from 24-0.

This result will be a huge blow to Fax, and could be a turning point one way or the other for them.

He won't after he's been to LSV for round two.

Big Sam Barlow is immense, we were getting walked over till he came on the pitch, so much for Fax winding him up they were playing seriously well till Sam came on and completely took their eye off a game plan which was killing us.

His try before HT was the game changer and his sending off may be hard to defend but hopefully a early guilty plea will see him miss one game against Swinton and he will be back for Fev.

I love the fact that we like Sam for what he is. He is another player like Jamie Acton that absolutely thrives on the adoration of the fans.

All the lads played great last 40 mins I thought Tom Armstrong had his best game so far in that second half made great metres and broke the line couple times that Sarsfield fella has become one great signing from Rowls can't wait for next Friday

Well done to the lads, did it the hard way, very poor for most of the first half but scoring just before half time and then almost immediately after put us on a roll, we then played great both in attack and defence, they just couldn't live with us in the second.

First time I've ever been to a game and someone's been given a Red card and not only me but no one around me knew what it was for?

Just got back to Southampton, going to be knackered tomorrow!
