If anyone is traveling to Barrow on Sunday, i would suggest you give yourself plenty of time because there are major roadworks on the A590 Newby Bridge, 3 mile tailbacks yesterday, Sunday might not be as bad but give yourself plenty of time, and the weather is going to be awful.

Back on topic for a moment - Junction 36 Northbound was closed ALL DAY, and there weren't any roadworks at Newby Bridge, at least on the way back!

Other than a slight congestion on the way back around the M55 junction we made it there in under 1.5hrs and back in just over 2.0 hrs

Yes Lynda , I was there , under cover opposite the entrance were the players come out , I went with Roman Officer ,as the Captain said , watch the game with the enlisted men , instead of sitting down , had Salfordlad mythiring me most of the game .

It was bloody freezing on the terrace behind the sticks in the first half but we toughed it out for the lads. Far better and warmer in the second half though.
