The deal has been funded by "Vauxhall Europe" and is as far as im aware the first of its kind.

To go from asking local businesses to donate £100 to keep the club afloat to signing big name sponsors like Evans Halshaw is a remarkable turnaround and a real testament to the hard work going on behind the scenes.

Im glad we have finally managed to secure this deal with the Leigh Centurions, its one i have been working on for a while and it makes it all the sweeter as im a Leyther myself and only live round the corner in Pennington.

Rob & Andy have been really efficient and professional throughout and we have had quite a few good ideas to roll out over the next few months. All this makes my job easier when negotiating the deals with Vauxhall Europe and Pendragon.

Hopefully this will be the start of something long term and will bring benefits to both parties, we will be liasing with the club regularly and will be bringing some exciting offers out there to the Leigh public.

When you look at our situation 10 months or so ago we was in a mess finacially so to be where we are with no multi millionaire backer is amazing. Our new BOM are doing a great job putting their money in & working hard strategically taking us forward to be the best we can




Fev over the last 4 years have set the bar both on the pitch & in their club management but it has been gradually done where as us interms of the off field stuff we've stepped up massively in less than a year
