I now feel the time is right with a lot of the teams signing their squad up for next season and ours nearly being complete. What are your predictions on the league and where teams will finish? I feel and hope that we can make the top 3 with Sheffield and Fev. I actually think we can win it! With the rest of the competition I have no idea. Got to be the most competitive in the world.

Just had a chat with Matt C and we will win it by a country mile, undefeated season and a Wembley appearance as well.

Haha! i seriously expect us to be up there next season though. The work the BOM have done since they come in has been nothing short of outstanding.

At Mondays Lisa meeting it was said that we have to finish in the top 2. I reckon there will be a grand final appearance for us next season too

Top 2 and a Grand Final appearance and hopefully a decent run in the C Cup will be a brilliant season...We have signed some terrific players to go with last seasons squad really looking forward to 2014

Keith , I don't think anyone is getting carried away , its obvious next season will be again very competitive , myself I think it will be the usual suspects involved , along with Dewsbury ,North Wales , and my dark horses are Haven

, but we have a bigger than normal Squad , and hopefully they will gel and the work of the BOD , and Paul and his staff will be rewarded .

Not quite sure how next season will go, I just hope to see a bit more composure and some entertaining footy. The aim has to be top two, with a little consistency I think that is definitely achievable.

The bookies will have Fev favourites for next season with then us Sheffield then Fax.

They won't be far off but essentially they go off the last few seasons results and this forthcoming seasons squads but their footie knowledge is in great depth however for RL outside Non Relegation League I am not so sure they are as accurate.

I am totally unbiased of course but will make my mind up after 5 league games who will win the league.

I can't wait for the season to start.....

I would be suprised for us not to be in the top 3 IMO it'll be us, Fev & t'eagles although I do believe we'll make the top 2. Fax will be up there but their half backs aren't any where as good as the ones I've mentioned which will be their down fall IMHO or should I KH's. Last season we lacked depth in our squad but also in stature too having Parker injured impacted us towards the end of our season against the likes Batley(who have some units) & it was noticable away to them & our dreaded playoff. Now we have some big units signed up, great squad depth & some much needed pace in three quarters things are looking great for us all round. Watch this space the future is bright in Cherry & White

Its really hard to call.

Sheffield are the benchmark they have the best overall team but maybe not so much strength in depth. Fev have a monster squad at the moment but a few of their players are been offered around so expect that to shrink closer to the start of the season.

Leigh have made some good signings and will be in the top 4 I would think. Batley will probably bring up 5th not been able to spend as much as the top 4 will hamper them but you never know.

My opinion on Fax so far is that we have improved our hooking options massivly from last season and Kaye is a top signing for us. Im unsure about Simon Brown but Sheffield fans liked him but we obviously signed him when the Finn deal fell through but that could still come off yet. Johnson at 7 will have a field day behind our pack. We have a loan signing from SL likely to come in as well as making a couple of very shred signings in centre Cowling and prop Brooks.

So although I feel we have improved from last year I still dont think we will crack Fev or Sheffield.

My top 5 would be:-
1. Sheffield
2. Fev
3. Fax
4. Leigh
5. Batley

If there is one shock then it could be Fev not doing as well as expected with the differences between the Chairman and the new coach.

I'll have a friendly wager with you that Leigh finish above fax, if I lose £50 to a charity of your choice if not then £50 to the W&L hospice from you

Can't contain my excitement for the season to start! recruited well, and there's nothing but positivity around the club at the moment, always felt we've lacked numbers come the business end of the season, but we've got arguably the best squad in the league this season and I feel we have a brilliant chance of winning it. Just hope the people of Leigh get behind the lads! imagine the north stand full to the brim, everyone singing! get behind the lads, cos this season's gonna be a good'un!!!!!!!!

I predict that crowds will increase this year after the fantastic specticle that was the RL World Cup 2013. Also after reading Freds post on FB about the boys at a wrestling gym, I think that we will be in the top 3 it not top. I can't wait for next year and have got our seats and tickets bought.

I can't wait to see young Ryan Duffy. Apparently he has got himself into good shape according to PR, even before the preseason training started. Good on him.
