It suddenly struck me last night that the World Cup might still be on when I am over at the end of the month on business.

I checked - I arrive in London at 8.20 a.m. on Nov 23rd and the doubleheader semi starts at Wembley at 1.



Persuaded my wife (who is travelling with me) to come along and also my aunt to travel down from Leigh.

The icing on the cake - used a code to get half-price tickets - 20 quid for both games each instead of 40 - bargain!!!



So so happy to be able to join the party..

Lets get a Leyther meet up at wembley, the shirt may be available by that date too????

I'll be there, Leyther spotting. I may not recognise newer shirts, but I'll be wearing a 71 version.

I have a 71 version as well, but I'll probably be wearing a more recent one just incase I get mistaken for a Wiganer..!

I'll be there with a Wiganer, so people can compare and contrast!

Joe that's really fantastic and i'm not really that surprised. I know I've only met you once or twice ( around the time of the 1st fans forum with Prof. Barrie Dale) . Not only have you gained the intellectual know how and practical needs you seem to me to have drive and i would imagine very thick skin . I am so delighted for you and your success in this event as it will give you (and our BOM) much valued experience when you turn you efforts to aid LRLFC and LSV to become the biggest and best supported sports club this side of the Pennines
