Hi Fred..did U do the Leeds away game Fred in our championship winning year.always telling my lads about the tries we scored that day.think it was on Granada but they didn't show the first half because we had advertisements on our shirts.

Yorkshire TV would have the rights, pity Leeds pulled a quick one with their sponsored shirts.

No sorry, I only started in 2001, I do have a couple of games from that season (well highlights at least) which I will be putting up some time this winter.

Just checked the stats re the last game from yesteryear V Wigan been up there for 3 days and only 3 viewers, a great win over the pies too.

It has gone to 4 hits, I have just watched the first half.

I watched it all and enjoyed it too.

Jeff Clarke loved his late tackling.... I'd nearly forgot how much he liked the biff . Very enjoyable but some poor passing from both sides...Chris Johnson good under the high ball and an excellent returner of the ball. Good to see a good crowd and a win for the good guys.

One of the things that I noticed was the absence of flat passing and marginal forward passes. They used to pass the ball into the space in front of a team mate so he could run on to it.
It was a good example of how coaching ideas have changed and not for the better.

Or how to pass the ball 20 yards back before any forward movement......
