Leigh Centurions are delighted to have signed the Wakefield forward Oliver Wilkes on a one-year contract for 2014 season.
"Wilkes 32 has been a consistent performer in Super League for a number of years and we're very pleased he's chosen Leigh Centurions," said coach, Paul Rowley. "We have signed a very athletic and fit player to add to our already hard-working pack for 2014."
Wilkes said: "I'm very excited about my move back to Leigh. I’ve kept an eye on developments at the club for a few months now and it’s clear there is real ambition and the set-up at the club is first class."
Leigh Director Andy Mazey added "Oliver is a fantastic signing for us. He was a very popular player with our fans when he was here before and is a very experienced Super League forward."
It seems like donkeys years ago since Oli last played with us and I really liked him then but I must admit that I haven't really watched him play for a while (I don't watch SL).
